How to tell my parents about my Boyfriend

Hey guys
I need your help

I live in europe but my parents are Indian and they dont allow me to have a Boyfriend.
I have a boyfriend now since 4months and he is amazing im so happy with him and he lives In Australia but I wanna tell my parents too because I dont wanna hide from them! But I dont know how to tell them..
im not really that close to one of them cause I dont talk about my problems or whatever to them cauSe I know If I would say something I would hear things..

Please help me 🥱

convince your parents slowly slowly ...and don't do anything without their order

Keep hiding it from them. Thats what I did ..worked for me.

Depends on how you want relationship with your parents.

If you are the type that is like, "i cannot live without without them, I need peace with them, need their happiness/approval to be happy myself" --- better tell them now.


If you can be aloof and not exactly be overly affected by what they think, are of the opinion that your boyfriend is your personal matter, or matter of your life, do as you please.


I'd suggest you tell them.. convince them, find a way to do so. Whatever they may say to you, they are your parents.. they only say out of concern, love, and they only say what is within their emotional/intellectual capacities.. IMO..

I'll suggest you to take some time before informing them... Itz just 4 mnths buddy...sorry to say this..bt u never know how long does a relationship last nowadays... neither u know how our Indian parents take this relationship ka thing...
