So, after today's episode ive seen a few posts talking about how cruel pihu is for a child, and how dare she doesnt understand the unconditional love of her parents, and that she was unnecessarily cruel to raman. And, as someone who's been watching raman and ishita ache for their daughter, i couldnt agree more.
BUT. once i removed that aspect of things, i really dont think i see pihu as being unreasonable.
her family and her father loved her to pieces, suddenly this woman waltzed into his life out of nowhere and suddenly, he's all over her. her mother, who also loved her to pieces, introduced this woman as the 'witch who separated her father from her'. after stealing her father, this crazy woman tries to separate her from the one person who stuck by her all her life, her mum! her mum, told her how distraught this made her, how afraid she was to lose the apple of her eye, how much she loved and adored her little angel, and pihu, hearing all this realised, that ishita was the evil witch in her little fairy tale and her father was the spineless man who had forsaken her and her mother was the goddess she should forever worship. her mother fulfilled her every need, made her popular amongst her friends and kept reminding her how much she loved her, and how little her father loved her. to add insult to injury, this woman tried to get her to bad mouth her mother in front of a stranger in an attempt to separate her from her mother, AGAIN. now her mother tells her, 'beta, we have to leave if we are to live together in peace. your father is always going to take the side of that witch, so if you go with him, you lose me!"
Now, you tell me. if you were pihu, would you go with your father to the 'evil witch who took everyone you loved away' or stay with your mom, the only person who ever really loved you?
i know the above is tooo simplistic, but honestly? its probably exactly what pihu has seen and felt. and i know, some of you will say oh she's mature, she can think, etc. but her mother's words are basically gospel to this kid. she could say the sun shines out of her butt and this kid would believe it without a second thought. raman never maintained a proper relationship with pihu once ishita got back and shagun took her chance. now it wasnt his fault, ishita really needed his help and he needed to be there for her. adi couldve been the support system pihu needed, but he too was involved in trying to help his mother. basically, my point is, pihu's actions are not as unreasonable as you might think. especially if you see things in her perspective. for those of you who watch naamkaran, trying seeing pihu as avni, asha as shagun the doting mum and raman as ashish, the father who left to marry someone else (ishu=neela) im not saying in any way that the characters are the same or the story lines are the same, but pihu's perspective may be understood in a similar way.
