Ishita was sitting in her room and was thinking how Raman can even think of someone else when she is already there.
Ishita- woh kaise kisi ke baare mein soch sakte hai jab ki main hoon unke saath.main bhi dekhti hoon kaise kisi ko kiss karenge,kaise kissi se shaadi karenge.bade aaye kiss karne wale .she was murmuring when Raman entered her room.he smiled seeing her lost in her thoughts.he came to her and sat beside her.
Raman- what happened chotu,anything serious.
Ishita glared at him and said- I don't wanna talk to u.
Raman- kyun Maine kya kiya.bakwaas toh tum ki jaa rahi thi tab se.
Ishita- haan haan I know u don't like me.she said with a sad pout.
Raman- aur yeh bakwaas tumhe kaise pata chali.he said smiling .
Ishita- bas pata chal gayi.mujhe sab pata chal gaya.ab hum ek saath nahi hai,hamare raaste alag alag hai.she said dramatically making Raman smile.
Raman- I don't understand from where u bring all this rubbish.chalo class khatam nahi hui hai.
Ishita- chale jaiye ,chod dijiye mujhe tanha.ab akele hum aur akele tum ,nahi kisi ke saath tum aur akele hum.
Raman- kya bakwaas kar rahi ho.daaru pee liya hai.chalti ho padhne yaa uthakar le chalun.
Ishita look at him and opened her arms signalling him to pick her up.
Raman- ishita chal rahi ho ke nahi.
Ishita got scared hearing ishita from him.she knows well that he calls her ishita when he is very angry on her.
She got up silently and start going towards her room making a crying face.Raman was behind her.they reached to his room and soon he started teaching her .ishita look at him,he was teaching her very seriously and sincerely while her mind was still stuck at the unknown girl.she was feeling jealous of the girl whom Raman is going to marry and love.she was glaring him when he asked- what chotu,padho yaar.u r wasting my time.
Ishita- haan bahut time waste karti hoon main aapka naa.mujhe nahi padhna aapse.saying so she ran to her room.Raman was about to go behind her but got a call from his friend .
Ishita went to her room and lay down on the bed.
Ishita- mujhe kitna daante hai aur usse pyaar karenge.main nahi baat karungi.she said to herself and closes her eyes.
Raman talk to his friend and finally went to her room only to see her in deep slumber.she was sleeping hiding her face in the pillow.
Raman made her sleep comfortably and sat beside her.he lovingly caressed her face and said- kitna pareshan karti ho mujhe.kaise sawaal puchti ho.yaa phir main kahun kitne bakwaas sawaal puchti ho.but still u r my sweetheart,hamesha itni hi pyari rehna chotu.u know naa I love u the way u r.he said and softly pecked her forehead. He covered her fully with the quilt and went to his room.
After an hour or two,toshiji came to wake her up to have dinner.she went silently and was eating her food slowly glaring at Raman.toshiji was observing her and wondering what's wrong with her.why she is glaring Raman.she elbowed Raman and asked the same only to get a don't know expression.they had their dinner in silence while ishita had very little food and went to her room.
They were about to talk about ishita when they heard ,Raman.they turned only to see Mr iyer standing on the door.
Toshiji -arey iyer sahab.kab aaye aap log.
Mr iyer- an hour ago.socha ishu ko le chalun.
Toshiji- itni bhi kya jaldi hai,kal le jaiyega.
Mr iyer- actually we r missing her so much.so got to take her waise bhi she must have troubled u much.
Toshiji- kya bol rahe hai iyer sahab.itni pyari bachchi kisi ko kaise pareshan kar sakti hai.u wanna take her naa,le jaiye.but very soon I will come to u to take her away from u forever.hope u r understanding what I am trying to say.she said smiling while raman blushed hearing her words.
Mr iyer- she is ur daughter only,u can take her whenever u want.in return I will also get a son like Raman.he said smiling and called ishita.
Ishita heard appa's voice and saw Raman smiling.she thought why he is smiling and then saw her appa.she ran to him and hugged him tight.appa hugged her back.
Toshiji- puttar ur appa came to take u back.
Ishita face fell hearing this and thought,oh appa came to take me that's why Raman is so happy.kya main itni buri lagti hoon Raman ko.
Toshiji- come puttar main tera samaan baandh deti hoon.saying so she was taking ishita inside when Raman said- maa,aap uncle ko coffee pilaiye.I will help her in packing.come chotu.saying so he took ishita inside.
Raman was doing her packing,keeping her books and clothes while she was sitting in a corner looking at him.she can see how happy he is.
Raman packed her bag and said- come chotu.and start walking but she was still sitting.
Raman turn to see her and found her eyes were moist.Raman went to her and asked- what happened chotu.why u r crying.
Ishita did not said anything but start crying bitterly.Raman didn't understand anything .
Raman- kya hua bachcha.why u r crying baby.he said taking her in side hug.she snuggle into him and cried while raman was just consoling her.
After sometimes ,her hiccup lessen and said- mujhe nahi jaana.
Raman was surprised hearing her words.he bend down and said- why baby,uncle came to take u.
Ishita- aap mujhe bhool jayenge.
Raman- how can I ,we will meet everyday and moreover why will I.
Ishita- u won't forget me naa.
Raman- never Babu.come let's go to ur appa.he must be waiting naa.
Ishita- u will come to pick me tomorrow naa.
Raman- ofcourse.
Ishita nodded and both went downstairs. Toshiji hugged ishita and pecked her forehead. Then ishita went to her home with appa.
Amma appa were too happy while toshiji and Raman were sad while ishita was the most lost soul.she was not understanding why she was feeling so restless with him.she slept thinking about him.
Next morning she got up early and get ready soon.after finishing her breakfast at earliest and start waiting for him to come but he wasn't coming.
Ishita- kahan reh gaye Raman.itni der kar di.she was thinking when she saw him coming.she smiled seeing him but her smile fainted when she saw a girl sitting behind him.she look thoroughly and recognise her.she was anjali,Raman's classmate .
Ishita made a puppy face saying- lagta hai yeh wahin hai jisse Raman shaadi karenge.
Raman dropped anjali near a apartment and came to ishita.
Raman- come chotu.
Ishita- why she was sitting behind u.
Raman smiled at her possessiveness and said- she wasn't getting any auto or cab.so I dropped her.she was coming to her friend's house.come let's go.
Ishita made a face and sit behind him.she hold him tightly.
Raman- chotu ,what u r holding me so tightly.
Ishita- meri marzi. Jaise bhi pakdoon.
Raman shaked his head in disbelief and then ride towards school.
They reached school and both went to their respective classes.after ten minutes ishita was coming to assembly but stop in mid seeing Raman talking with anjali.
Ishita- mujhse baat nahi ki aur isse kaise has has ke baat kar rahe hai.she said to herself and went towards assembly.soon the assembly started.Raman was conducting it but his eyes were on ishita like always.he loves to observe her little cute antics.
Soon assembly got over and all start going back to their class when Raman and some boys ran to a girl who fell down.ishita go and see ,it was anjali.raman was helping her to get up.ishita burned in jealousy seeing this.she was running towards her class and she too fell off two stairs.she hold her knees and start crying bitterly.
Raman saw her and ran to her leaving everything.
Raman- chotu ,kaise gir gayi.kitni chot lag gayi tumhe.
Ishita- bahut dard ho raha hai.she said crying.
Raman picked her in his arms and start taking her to her classroom while ishita was just looking at him wounding her arms around his neck.ishita was liking his concern for her.
Ishita- (St) anjali di ko nahi uthaya but mujhe uthaya.he is so caring.she was thinking and admiring her while he was worried seeing her wound.
He make her sit on her bench and washed her wound.tied his hanky in it and asked- is it OK now.
Ishita nodded in yes.
Raman smiled and caressed her face.
Raman- take care chotu,I will come in lunch break.saying so he went while ishita was just looking at his retreating figure.
