Om from Zee Cine Stars

Hi guys! I just started watching this show and I have a question. I quickly browsed through the forum and I didn't find my answer so here I go...

The guy who plays Om (the one with the Haryana? accent) seems VERY familiar. Does anyone remember if he was on the very first Zee Cine Stars? I think Mahesh Manjrekar even promised him a role as a villan in his next movie, but I never saw that guy again.

Anyone notice this also? And does anyone know what this guy's real name is?
