Exhausted with all the morality-related discussions.🄱
Here's a tangent to change the mood. šŸ˜›

According to Hindu mythology, in the original Shiv/Sati saga, Shiva performed the Tandav after Sati's death for one main purpose: Daksh dahan, that is, the destruction/death of Daksh.

So if we're talking parallels, the funeral ritual was essential for it to be called "Tandav" in the literal sense. Vivi had promised nothing less after all. šŸ˜†

Practicality lovers (and I admit to being one on occasion), that scene meant to be a declaration of intent, not a path of action.
And c'mon you have to appreciate the drama. This type of stuff is exactly why I love desi TV so much. šŸ˜³šŸ˜›

P. S: From what I understood yesterday, despite all the lies and misunderstandings, Vivi and Ravish have managed to retain their respect for each other.
He remembers and acknowledges all the times she tried to confess and he overrode her.
She remembers all the times he lied to her, but overlooks it because he saved Atharv.
When these characters, even in the worst of circumstances, are willing to give each other the benefit of doubt, is it that hard for real people to do the same? I dunno about fiction, but in the real world, humanity is deffo our onus.

You know people have mockingly used the word 'Tandav' in this forum so much, I unintentionally laughed seeing your topic title.

'Abhi Bahut kuch karna baaki hai mere Atharv ke liye' - she has the intent. She won't spare Kailash once he finally comes in front of her. Just look at her journey though! This woman worshipped her Dad and now she's burning his picture, doing his kria karam. Like can you imagine her menta state? People take it way too lightly.

Regarding, Ravish and Vividha - yes they seem like they can reach a civil & respectable ground. But Beta, wohi toh kuch log nahin chahte šŸ˜‰

Haha yeah, I've noticed. My choice of topic title was quite intentional. It's all a matter of perspective na. . One can trivialize the most profound things or one can find meaning in the most superficial gestures. I wanted to restore some of the dignity this word rightfully deserves.

@Bold: WORD! This is the only reason I've stayed glued to the show despite the crap they throw at us.
Her graph is amazing! !
I remember this scene from the early episodes, when she was scared to even talk to Atharv on the road cuz log kya kahenge and all that. . But look at her yesterday. . That hug dude! All she could see is him.
Early Vividha. Her papa jaap was so annoying and I admit I wanted to smack her on more than one occasion. šŸ˜†But just look at the rakshas ki beti now. Disowning dad like a boss.

R/V. For the first time, I was actually able to relate to a scene of theirs. For me, this is a positive in itself.
Dunno what to say about the shippers thoughšŸ˜†

I have pictured the upcoming mangalsutra scene in a certain way. If they play it that way, I can see myself maybe, possibly watching/enjoying future scenes of theirs. šŸ˜‰šŸ˜›

Thanks for sharing this. Wasnt sure of the dahan part but it all seems to make much more sense now.
When its a tandav, everything and everyone goes wuiet and thats exactly what happened during Vv's tandav.
Lord shivji did it for mata sati , his soulmate his ardhangini.

Vv did it for her Atharv.
