TV Actors Win Due to Popularity

My first post here hello guys and may everyone's new year be a blast.

People might disagree and they probably will 😆 but since this show is based on the votes of the masses, the tv actors win due to their tv popularity. Honestly based solely on dance I thought Rakhi and Abhishek were the best dancers. I applaud Aamir on his growth as a dancer as the show progressed but I still don't think Aamir has the same calibre as a dancer as does Abhishek. Sanjeeda is a wonderful dancer but Rakhi has shown time and time again that she is just as great.

Lastly AS know how to project themselves more importantly their personalities on national television. Rakhi and Abhishek have yet to learn this.

Finally as much as we would hate to admit it the public votes on looks. AS are probably the best looking couple on NB3. This maybe a factor of them never being in the danger zone even on their weaker performances.

Thus, not the best deserving candidates get the title as in most elections. The format needs to be changed and a reputed panel of judges in the field of dance can only do justice to both the jodis and the show.

In another dance show a tv actress won as opposed to another candidate who I felt was the better dancer.

But all participants in such shows know what they are getting themselves in to. Of course the public vote can be cruel in the sense that a deserving contestant/jodi can be knocked out of the competition. But the format is this way- it's in the hands of the public. pple need to be prepared for elimination or defeat because they know how the voting works. Therefore there shouldn't be much surprise.

With regards to A-S, all I would like to say is that if popularity makes you win (which it does and I don't dispute that) then someone like a Vikas Sethi or Karan Patel would've won. They are in serials that have become household names. In comparison to them, A-S are not as popular. But I think they have managed to connect with the majority of the viewers.

This doesn't mean that I have anything against RA. In fact, I think we should all refrain from pointing fingers at BOTH jodis.

In all honesty, I only watched NB3 for entertainment, didn't have a fav jodi from the start but I'm dissapointed that the show has ended in such a way

It becomes a sad affair if we just blatantly state that we accept a decision without any suprise or shock even though it is unfair. If the show is based on dance than it should be the only requirement for judgement connecting with the public via personality and/or looks and winning their sentiments should not be of concern.

The jodis are not to be blamed but the format. NB4 should be judged solely by a panel of judges reputed in the field of dance.

Ignorance lies in the sentiments of the public and unfortunately the jodis have to suffer for it.

Well, considering all the controversy at the end of NB3, I wouldn't be surprised if a decision is made by star to srap public voting. But then again I doubt they would do that because whether we like it or not, public voting gives that element of surprise.

But Rakhi's allegation is of cheating. She claims that there has been foul-play. So popularity isn't the issue at the moment.

considering its a 'celebrity' dance show its not a matter of life death, future, career, struggle, earning bread and butter like in shows like indian idol, saregama, voiceofindia, boogie woogie etc. in those shows making a right and the most deserving candiate win is needed. they are given a bigger platform to showcase their talent. to bring thei own music albums... to step in the music industry. the better we choose the better we will get to hear but nachbaliye is more of a fun show as these people are already celebrity. their career will not end after this show whoever wins will go back to their previous jobs. the celebs would prefer the public to judge them than a panel of judge. and in a celebrity show the public will choose the person they like the most they will not get into critical examination of every dance step and every technique. and if only a panel of judge choose the best jodi then only celebrities who are professional dancer will be able to participate

Not really for the element of suprise they would not want to lose all the money they could make via smses.

I think most people are fed up of Rakhi's allegations and would want that issue to end. But since it's brought up that is also due to smses which she claims were fraudelent.

The channel made money through public voting but now it got them into a law suit.

In nach baliye the deserving candidates don't need to win according to what you have to say. Than we should not even bother to call it a dance show why not a popularity contest? Most celebrites had a problem with the current format of the show krishna kashmira, pooja haneef and lastly rakhi abhishek. If the show's aim is to pick the best pair of dancers than why should we not have people to "examine every dance step and every technique." Professional dancers don't have to participate to be judged by a panel of judges since they are already professional.

the thing is it requires a big amount of public support and a good amount of talent. the mixture is important.AS were lucky they had a combination of both. RA were good dancers but they didnt have much public support compared to AS or KA. KA failed as they werent really good dancer not better than RA or AS. even judges point wise the 2 highest point gainer are RA and AS. It was definitely not a final between a highly talented vs talentless. it wasnt a hrithik roshan vs sunny deol (dance wise). there are many who actually liked their dancing just dance. i myself feel RA are good dancers but lacks in the chemistry area.

the final 2 jodis or the result wasnt a shocker. right from the begining majority or i can say almost everyone wanted a final between AS and RA.

I totally agree with the creator of this topic. TV actors do win due to popularity. AS are popular because they are goodlooking and really match with each other. That's the main reason why they won in the first place. The public always go for the attractive couple. Rakhi and Abhishek may not be so goodlooking, but they are so talented and hardworking. It's sad that the audience don't appreciate true talent.

Someone here said Vikas-Amita and Karan-Amita should have won because they are also goodlooking. But, let me tell you one thing. Vikas is defenitely very handsome. No doubt about that. The same can not be said about Amita coz she is not so goodlooking. Karan and Amita's case is different. Yes, both are goodlooking. However, they don't compliment each other. Also, girls don't like Amita for various reasons.
