ADHM v Shivaay Similar Footfalls In Week One

The Diwali clash may have gone in favour of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is concerned as far the business is concerned but the footfalls of both films are very similar after the first week of business and it could be that by the end of its run that Shivaay actually takes the lead. Both films have recorded footfalls in the range of 75 lakhs in the first week with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil having an average ticket price of Rs 145 and and Shivaay being at Rs 120. These ATP's will come down in second week for both films as there is no raised ticket rates due to holidays this week. The difference is mainly due to high end multiplexes where Shivaay had a lower ratio of business and a higher ratio of single screen business with around 30% coming from single screens. The footfall details for the first week for both films are as follows..

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Nett - 78,10,00,000

Gross - 1,08,42,00,000

Footfalls - 74,59,000

ATP (Average Ticket Price) - 145.35

Shivaay

Nett - 63,47,00,000

Gross - 89,16,00,000

Footfalls - 74,21,000

ATP (Average Ticket Price) - 120.14

The footfalls don't make difference as far the profit or loss of the film is concerned but its important for the stars of the film as its footfalls that give idea of reach rather than the gross as India as such huge variance of ticket rates. Eventually popularity is measured by the number of people rather than the amount of rupees.

😆 money matters but this win is not a win.. its just like andho me kaana raja.
It shows beeru stardom has suffered a lot in these years 😊 Anyways i hope he bounce back 👏
As of now beeru does nt gain anything from this movie

SHIVAAY = AVERAGE ho jaani thi agar 100 paar karti, but ab FLOP ya phir BELOW AVERAGE hogi.

So more people actually watched a bad film spending more money over another magnum opus which had a superstar of 20+ yrs with 2 NA awards!
