**Scary Realizations,Confusing Acceptances**
As annika dreadfully entered the oberoi mansion next day..she had to face a not so pleasant surprise.
Shivaay was standing in d hall nd a girl in full bridal attire was hugging him tight.
She felt cheated, disturbed, hurt nd what not.It was a very weird feeling to explain in few words.Hasnt she seen tia hugging shivaay numerous times? Didnt she knew tht he was not hers to be claimed? Hadnt she said those hurtful words to shivaay last night? Hadnt she spent whole night tosssing and turning in bed trying to make herself aggreable to d decision she took to stay away from him?
Then why standing here today,,watching an unknown girl hugging him tight made her feel so possessive...nd to be true to herself..made her feel so JEALOUS.
It wasnt a right feeling at all.Annika shook her head and said to her own mind
"Bas bahut phaila liya raita..ab aur nahin.."
[Enough of confusion..not anymore]
But then she noticed d wedding attire of d girl nd thght again
"par yeh ladki ne shaadi ka joda kyun pehna hai..kahin billooji ka mann tho ni badal gaya..socha tia ko thoda competition de doon..apni shaadi ka swamyamar rakhne ka tho decide ni kar liya"
[Why is this girl wearing a wedding dress? Has billoji changed her mind nd decided to give competition to tia by aranging a bride choosing ceremony for himself]
As she was standing there thinking all this, she didnt realized tht the girl has broken d hug nd both she and shivaay were arguing about something & after few moments..both of them looked at annika together nd were staring at her trying to understand why she was making weird thoughtful faces standing at d threshold ..mumbling tit bits to herself.
Shivaay was not as surprised as mallika.He has adapted somehow to annika's weird paagalpantis nd self talking obsession but mallika was finding it all quite strange and amusing.
Mallika asked shivaay in amused tones ="shivaay..yeh kaun h..aur kya hua h..why is she behaving so?"
[Shivaay..who is she..nd wht happened to her.. why is she behaving so?]
Before shivaay could answer..annika came back from her thoughtful self talking trip ...heard d words of the new girl nd started moving inside towards them.
As her eyes met his..he turned away his face nd started looking towards mallika instead.Annika felt a sharp twinge of sadness,guilt nd hurt once more.She knew he was angry nd also knew tht she couldnt do anything about it.
Annika="hello! Main annika..billoji ne apni shaadi ki tayaari ke liye mujhe rakha h"
[Hello! I M ANNIKA..billoji has given me a job of his wedding planner]
At those words..shivaay immediately turned back nd their eyes met.As if both asking to each other..Y ARE U DOING THIS TO ME?
Mallika="billoji..omggg shivaay"
Mallika laughed hard nd put her both hands on his chest for support.
Annika was confused as to why this girl was laughing at her simplest of introduction but more than tht her eyes were on those hands which were so casually lying on HIS chest.She remembered all those times when her hands touched him there bcoz all those times they have ended up kissing.Her face lost its color again nd she was about to yet go deep in her thoughts when the girl exclaimed
"Oh sorry annika! Main tumhari baat par ni hans rahi..par point is tht maine kabhi kisi ko shivaay ko billo..oh noo!! Oops...billoji bulate ni suna..I thght only daadi shivaay ko billoo bulati hain..so it came as shock..
Ahh!! Stupid me...let me introduce myself..

Her last words were directed at shivaay as a taunt nd he got d meaning very clearly.Annika just smiled slowly nd shook her hands.She didnt knew what to feel and say.
Shivaay in zest broke mallika's nd annika's handhold..grabbed mallika's shoulders nd spoke looking into her eyes all angrily=" oh stop it mallika! Tum abhi bhi meri friend ho ..par iska matlab yeh ni ki main tumhare har situation se bhaag jaane ki aadat ko support karoonga..tumne galat kiya h tho kiya h..tum apni hi shaadi se bhaag aayi..have u lost ur mind?"

Annika was feeling like an intruder .Shivaay didnt wanted her here..She was getting d message very clearly.He was busy chatting to his friend which ofcourse couldnt be accompolished without touching each other frequently.So she decided to move away from d scene when om and rudra came barging in...nd both were shocked to see mallika in oberoi mansion.
Om exclaimed="mallika. Tum yahan?"
Rudra="mallika didi..aap tho runaway bride ho gayi ho..pata h myjhe tho humesha se lagta tha ki aapki shaqal julia roberts se milti h"
[Mallika didi..u have became runaway bride..I always thght ur face resembles with julia roberts]
Shivaay="shutup rudra! Om ab tum hi samjhao isse ki kitna galat kaam kiya h"

Om="shivaay sahi keh raha h mallika..tumhe iss tarah ka drastic step ni lena chahiye tha..I understand ki tumhara zaroor koi important reason hoga ..but u shud have discussed it with ur fiancee"

Annika who was till now silently observing shivaay only who was very religiously avoiding her ..was suddenly left shaken

Shivaay gave an exasperated look to both d girls and stomped off in anger.
Mallika who was feeling hurt by his reactions nd stupid for her decision to come here to oberoi mansion ran away towards poolside in tears.
Om was about to follow her when annika stopped him nd gestured with her hands tht let me try.Although she didnt got much of the convo as she was busy staring at shivaay but she understood tht much ..tht one another person had just became victim of dadly anger of KHADOOS SINGH OBEROI.

Athough annika was feeling this very unknown feeling of jealousy towards mallika and her roaming hands but still she felt bad when she ran away crying.
As she entered d poolside area, mallika was sitting by d poolside table silently weeping to herself.Suddenly annika felt not so good about all her jealous feelings towards her nd approached her for amendments.She poured water in a glass from d jug of water lying on d table and offered it to mallika.
Mallika silently took d glass and started sipping water still sobbing.
Annika="mallikaji..."
Mallika="mallika..just mallika"
Annika="achha mallika..aap tho SSO ka nature jaanti hi hain..aap tho unki purani bahut kareebi friend rahi h" she stressed on kareebi.
[Ok mallika..u know nature of sso..u have been her very close old friend]
Mallika="SSO?"
Annika=" arey woi shivaay singh oberoi"
Mallika suddenly laughed strongly.
Mallika in bemused tones=" annika tum kabhi shivaay ko shivaay ni bulati na?"
Annika was suddenly left bewildered with this question.How could she tell mallika tht she has caled him shivaay many a times in last few days..in d moments which were very private to disclose..as in those moments..he was inches away from her either ready to kiss her or had just kissed her nd she has called him "shivaay" in ecstasy.
She quickly hid her real emotions nd replied in fake enthusiastic tones
"Aapko ni pata mallika..billoji ke kayi naam rakhe hai maine. ...bagadbilla singh oberoi,stone singh oberoi, calculator singh oberoi, khadoos singh..."
[Dont u know mallika..I have given many names to billoji.. bagadbilla singh oberoi,stone singh oberoi, calculator singh oberoi, khadoos singh...]
Annika was suddenly interrupted by loud laughter of mallika
Mallika=" bas bas annika...main samjh gayi..ek din tumse inn sab names ka matlab zaroor samjhoongi main ..but for now I m happy to meet u..koi tho shivaay ki takkar ka mila"
[Ok ok annika..I get u..I will one day understand meaning of all these names from u .. but for now I m happy to meet u..finally there is someone whose equal to shivaay]
Annika was glad tht mallika was feeling okay now.
She decided to do something about her situation but tht meant going into d lion's den nd she very bravely resolved to do so.
Annika=" main abhi aayi mallika..aap yahin wait karna"

And she left

As annika was going towards shivaay's room..she saw om and rudra going towards d poolside.
Mallika was walking by d poolside now..lost in thoughts.
Om="I m sorry mallika...main tumhe hurt ni karna chahtha tha"

Mallika turned , looked at om standing nearby nd just hugged him with a smile.
Rudra="waise I m tho happy tht u ran away di..nd came here.. shivaay bhaiyaa ko uss lady baba main aur aapko uss siddharth vikram rana main pasand kya aaya..mujhe tho kabhi samjh ni aaya"

Om gave a reprimanding look to rudra and said in scolding tones "RUDRAAA!!!!!!"
But mallika just laughed nd hugged him.
Annika has made her smile nd rudra nd om have finally made her feel better abt her decision but she was still sad tht her best frnd didnt understood her POV.

Shivaay was sitting on d bed with his laptop at his lap checking and replying emails. Due to this mallika situation, he had decided to do work from home today.He didnt wanted to think about last night or what annika said..but he couldnt help tht her last words were coming back to him again and again.
" ab bas billoji! Ab bas! Ab dobara ni"
What exactly she had meant.He was totally annoyed of her confused emotions now.One moment she kissed him with all fevour nd next she acted all this weird. And today he couldnt understand her most weird reaction on seeing mallika. He knew tht she was staring at him all d time but he was in no mood to bend this time. Why was she doing so? Urghh!! It was all so irritating.
Whole night he was awake thinking about all this and today in d morning..her stares were making him feel puzzled. And to add to tht, mallika has arrived..again running away from situation rather than facing it..shivaay was irritated with both ladies.

Annika was standing at his doorstep contemplating how to start d convo nd what to say when shivaay looked up from his work nd stared probingly at him.

Annika was flustered for a moment but then realized tht he always sensed her.
Annika=" mallikaji..mallika ke baare main baat karni h mujhe aapse billoji"she said stepping into d room [I wanna talk about mallika with u]
Shivaay="but mujhe tumse iss baare main koi baat ni karni annika..aur kuch ?"

Annika "dekhiye billoji..mallika aapki dost hain..aap ek baar unse pooch tho lijiye ki unhone jo kiya woh kyun kiya"

Shivaay closed his laptop with a force..nd dropped it away and stood up.He walked towards her in agony nd spoke roughly
" tumhe ek baar main baat samjh ni aati na..woh meri dost h ..woh bhi bahut purani..main usse sambhal loonga aur samjha ke waapis bhej doonga...yeh mera personal matter h..tum iss maamle se door raho"
[U dont get it in one time na..she is my friend..tht too very old friend..I will take care if her nd pwrsuade her to go back..its my personal matter..u stay away from it.]
He was standing facing her now.
Annika looked into his eyes..adjusted quickly to d rough words he just said nd looked down trying to hide her bewildered emotions..she paused..sighed and then replied calmly looking strght into his eyes with much effort on her part
"Jaanti hoon ki aapke ghar aur dostoon ki baaton main bolne ka mera koi haq ni h..aur yeh bhi jaanti hoon ki aap mallika ko kaafi achhi tarah sambhal lete hain...apni aankhon se dekha maine..par phir bhi ek baat zaroor kahoongi..aapki dost pareshaani main apke paas aayi h aur aap uski baat tak ni sunana chahthy..wajah tak ni poochi ki usne aisa kyun kiya..achhey purane dost aisa ni kartey..agar kal ko aapki zabardasti ki dosti main mallika ne apni zindagi ka koi galat faisla kar liya..tho uska pachtava aapko mallika se bhi zyaada hoga"

Annika gave him d last hurt nd angry look nd turned to go away when shivaay got hold of her wrist..turned her nd pulled her into his embrace in one swift motion...their bodies were touching
Shivaay whispered in deep husky tones in her ears" kyun tymhe bura laga?"

He was not amused, he was not playing..he was not getting romantic here..he was dead angry nd his each word was as intense nd painful as his hold on her wrist.She could feel his anger just thru his touch...nd his voice proved her correct.
Annika asked in confusion=" kya bura laga?"

Shivaay="yahi ki main mallika ko sambhal loonga..aur tumhe lagta hai ki main usse bahut achhi tarah se sambhal leta hoon..kyun tumhe jalan ho rahi h kya annika?"

He pulled her more harshly into him yet very softly touched her cheeks with his own..
"Bolo annika...r u jealous of mallika? Yaa pachtava ho raha h ki kal mujhe yeh kyun kaha ki ab dobara nahin..timing thodi galat hogayi na"

Annika pushed him back with all her force ..stumbled herself a little ..her eyes were filled with tears now and she replied in complete anger..with her whole body trembling with agony..
"TIA...YAAD H YEH NAAM..aapki mangetar hai ..aapki shaadi hone waali h..aur kya yeh bhi yaad hai ki main yahan aapki shaadi ki tayaari ke liye aayi hoon..NAHIN!! AAPKO YAAD NI HAI...
yaad kariye aur achhi tarah se yaad rakhiye billoji..aap ek oonchey khaandaan ke raees bete hain jiska khoon bhi lajawaab h aur naam bhi..mera tho koi khaandaan hi nahin hai..na koi ooncha naam juda h mere naam ke peechey..tho haan mujhe pachtava hai.. jo kuch bhi humare beech main ab tak hua..mujhe uss ka pachtava hai..aap tia se shaadi karne waale hain..isliye AB BAS!! AB DOBARA NAHIN!!..haan maine yeh kal bola aur ab bhi yahi boloongi.

Jale meri chandani...mallika aapki dost h aur woh udaas h aur pareshaan h tho isliye main aap se baat karne aa gayi..bahut badi galti ho gayi..haan mujhe yeh ek aur pachtava hai billoji..aap timing ki baat kar rahe hai na..tho haan..yahan aane ki meri timing galat thi..mujhe ni aana chahiye tha."

Shivaay stood there shocked ..just thinking nd rethinking all d words annika threw his way..she was so correct in few things..for last few days he had completely forgotten about tia..since tht blackout day when he had first kissed annika..he had completely forgotten tht he was committed to tia..everyone knew tht theirs was a marriage of business settlements but it was his own decision..wasnt it?
So what was he doing with annika then? She was right in regretting all tht happened bcoz right here in this moment...she had given him a reality check nd he was regretting it too...
All his beliefs of lineage nd bloodline..uff!!! It was for d first time in his life tht he had overlooked his principles nd did something which was in total contrast to his values nd notions.
Annika has made him forget the basic rules on which his life was based.As much as he agreed with her truthful words..he was feeling irritated with himself for losing control over himself bcoz of her .
He remembered his 'timing' words nd going by her reaction. ..regretted saying tht too..he knew tht he shudnt have used such words..nd then he remembered mallika and decided to go and amend this one situation which was still repairable..bcoz what happened bw him and annika seemed beyond repair right now .

Mallika was sitting on d lounge chair by the pool with both om and rudra sitting there with her.Annika was standing facing them with her back to the entrance.
With much difficulty she had controlled her tears nd was now trying to mingle with others to forget what happened in his room.

U r right mallika! although love just happens without conditions but Respect should be d first condition of love otherwise u can never guess whosoever stomps over ur heart nd move beyond nd u keep reminiscing the good times spent with tht person as ur life..nd when d beautiful dream breaks..nd u r awake..u found ur respect destroyed..so its very necessary to have RESPECT IN LOVE]
Annika was lost in her own hurt ..emoting her pain out nd she didnt realized tht a lone tear escaped her eye..more than tht she didnt realized tht someone was standing behind her ..listening to her every word..it was SHIVAAY.

Annika controlled herself nd replied" haan main theek hoon" [yup! I am fine]
Mallika "shivaay..."
Annika turned nd their eyes met.Her pain was swimming like tears in her eyes nd against his own brains and logics ...it was d most unbearable sight for shivaay.

Shivaay turning towards mallika=" I m sorry tht I overreacted mallika..tum jitne din chahe yahan raho aur main tumse koi sawaal ni poochonga ki tumne jo kiya woh kyun kiya..I know now tht tumhare paas zaroor koi valid reason hoga and main woh sunane aur samjhane ke liye tayaar hoon"
[ I m sorry tht I overreacted mallika..u can stay here as long as u want nd I wont ask any question as to why u did what u did..I know now tht u must have valid reason for it nd I m ready to listen nd understand tht reason]
Mallika,OM & Rudra made a HAAAWW face together nd mallika quickly ran towards shivaay and hugged him tight.
Again shivaay nd annika's eyes met nd she turned away.She could lie to shivaay in response to his harsh words..but she couldnt lie to herself..despite all tht happened nd how much he may have hurted her today...she still couldnt bear anyone touching him.
Her brain knew tht mallika was just a friend but her stupid heart was out of her control.
Mallika broke d hug nd moved towards annika grasping her both hands tightly in her own
"Tum magician ho annika..zaroor tum main koi khaas baat h..warna shivaay ko kisi cheez ke liye agree karna..uff! Its next to impossible..thank u so much"
Mallika giggled nd winked at shivaay.

Both annika and shivaay were left staring at each other again.

Saahil was on a school trip nd despite her various attempts ,mallika ,prinku nd soumya had convinced her to stay at d mansion in d night nd much against herself she has agreed but with one condition tht they all will stay in prinku's room only.
As all girls were busy giggling nd chatting away,annika was trying to participate nd forget all tht happened.
Suddenly rudra barged into d room nd screamed
"HIDE N SEEK TIME"
soumya=" tum yahan kaise aaye? Yeh girls ka room h"
[How did u get in? This is girls room]
Rudra" pairoon se aaya ..darwaaze se aaya..dikhtha ni..hattoo!! Mallika di..annika di chalo na plz. I ve convinced both O and shivaay bhaiyaa too...hum sab hide n seek khelenge bahut mazza aayega"
[With my legs thru d door...cant u see..get aside..mallika di..annika di..come na plz.. I ve convinced both O and shivaay bhaiyaa too..we will all play hide n seek it will be so much fun]
Mallika="not a bad idea actually..lets go girls it will be so much fun"
Annika="hide n seek?"
Rudra="woh didi jisme sab chupte hain aur ek dhoondta h but hum team banayenge aur teams main dhoondenge"

Annika="oh achha chuppan chupai..par mera mann ni h"[oh oky got it! But I m not in d mood]
This is what she dreaded..she couldnt face him today.She needed some time.
But ..finally she had to agree to them all nd everyone moved out of d room.
In d hall, om and shivaay were standing waiting for them all.Shivaay had agreed to this stupidity only bcoz he wanted to see one glimpse of her to assure Himself tht she was fine.And one look at her made him know tht she wasnt fine at all.
Ohh!! He was fighting with himself but right now he just wanted to hug her nd take away her pain .
Her words about love nd respect have left him confused..hurt too..he wanted to prove to her tht he wasnt tht bad...tht he hasnt used her but at d same time he was annoyed tht she thought so low of her nd more irritated with himself tht despite all this he was not thinking a bit about tia and his marriage and was worried for her only..urghh!! It was a hopeless situation.
Soon teams were made ..annika was in d oppposite team nd mallika was in his team . He knew deep down tht even tht wont go well with her..despite the stupidity of it all.
As soon as d game started, it was shivaay's team turn to seek so annika was meant to hide away.
Annika literally wanted to hide away from all this.
So she moved towards d pool nd sat on its faraway corner hidden behind all d chairs nd big flower vases nd hung her foot in water trying to relax her senses.She hoped to stay here only throughout d duration of d game.
What she didnt knew was tht his eyes were capturing her every move.And as if d history was repeating itself,suddenly mansion went all dark..it was d most ideal hide n seek situation created now.
Annika's breath was stuck in her throat.She immediately panicked nd in her attempt to get up nd get away in hurry..she slipped and fell into d pool.
She was going deep into d pool and her all attempts to swim by fastly moving her legs and arms were going in vain.Annika was in complete terror now.Suddenly she felt two hands grasping her by shoulders and pulling her up..it was shivaay.
As soon as she was up ..she breathed deep nd almost felt like fainting when air suddenly again filled her lungs.She grasped his shoulder for support nd he quickly grasped her by her waist with his right hand nd hugged her tight...nd made her not float but stand in d pool.
As soon as her feet touched d bottom of d pool..she knew tht she needed d balance..she needed this strong support..damn! She needed him.This thought again made her angry with her own heart nd she again pushed him away trying to walk though the water to d side of d pool in totally dark ambience.
Shivaay hissed in anger" kya kar rahi ho annika..tum phir phisal jaoogi...here take my hand..main le chalta hoon tumhe"
[what r u doing? U will again slip..here take my hand..I will take u ]
Annika didnt replied nd started moving baby steps but much to her agony she again slipped and again shivaay grasped her hand nd balanced her.
This time he pulled her back nd they were standing facing each other in d middle of d pool in all its darkness.
Her lips were quivering nd his eyes were blazing nd their sexual tension was again at its peak.
She had indirectly blamed him of using her nd here standing in this pool of water in all this darkness..he so wanted to justify her blame ..nd use her thoroughly..
He wanted to show her tht he was hurt too by her accusation.. he had meant every kiss and gesture nd never used her...nd as she had responded equally so how was it d USE?
They were standing there silently in d water..couldnt see much of each other but their breaths were doing d talks..it was like two magnets pulling each othr back ..all ready to be glued till eternity again.

Look tht was my way of compensating for d long gap between posts...I hope I have been forgiven.
Many may find this post to be hugely stolen away from d show but I had to go to d basic to add some portions of basic theme to my imagination...mallika part till now has been according to d book but there will be SVR coming up soon minus d family ..adding my twist to her story .
Also next comes d party..nd believe me..it will be different as This time night behind d chaand will be thouroughly explained..haha !
For now wait for d pool scene as its not yet completed.
