Why his BO stats fail him despite having pretty much every quality to be a top actor?

A good dancer!

A decent looker!

Has had number of high profile relationships.

Still nothing. Just 2 clean hits in 10+ years. His filmography is rather interesting. Kaminey, Haider , JWM, UP, Padmavati. Is there any genre he didn't try!

He gives off very wannabe-ish vibe. Very replaceable too. Except for the last 2 films like Haider and UP.

This is not totally related, but this guy's attempt at Punjabi baffled and exhausted my senses while watching UP.

Most important point for a star is charisma. He has zero charisma.

Lacks connect too. I hardly feel anything for his characters.

There is no reason he shouldn't be big but maybe the audience just doesn't love him? I also think he lacks chemistry with most of his crostata barring Amrita Rao and KKK in JWM. I know someone who has worked with him and said he's a huge pain in the ass but aren't they all 😆
