In my house in Kerala , ever since I was a child, we never had any indication that there is anything special about Diwali. No special sweets or celebrations or fireworks. Now with people having moved to other cities and got exposure to festivals like Diwali, I think in cities at least, there might be some kind of celebration but Kerala is more about Onam, Vishu, Christmas and Eid. Only someone who has lived there will understand this.

And yes, her accent is completely off.

I think shreelakshmi is the weakest contestant on the show, but did anyone else think blue team was being unfair by not listening to her inputs or letting her make a more complex dish? she is probably not good at international cooking but this challenge is where her strength lis. it could have been her chance to shine but samantha told her to make basic puris🥱perhaps they just did not want to take a risk with her since she was on the bottom twice.
