Prakash threatens Neetu and takes the necklace for Sanju. Chandu asks Anu how Sanju could ever forget her, and Anu says that it would be better if Sanju had forgotten. Kaku tells Sanju that Vikram is here.
-Patil House - Courtyard-
Sid is shocked to hear that Sanju is getting married. Kaku drags Sanju over to Mrs. Kulkarni and Vikram (the guy who played the first Avinash in Piya Ka Ghar). Sanju keeps glancing back at Sid and Anu, while Kaku hastily explains that she took care of the entire wedding.
Anu approaches Sanju and congratulates her on getting married. She then goes back to Sid and says that she congratulated Sanju from both of them, and that maybe they will be invited here for a wedding soon.
Kaku is tells Sanju to touch Mrs. Kulkarni's feet. When Sanju does so, Mrs. K seems impressed and she asks Sanju about her interior decorating. Kaku praises her cooking as well, and Sanju imagines herself in a kitchen making and burning rotis.
Vikram says that Sanju seems qualified everywhere, but she hasn't said anything yet. Kaku is about to say that Sanju is outspoken, but instead she says that Sanju is really shy and hardly says anything.
Chandu, Manju, Aai and Neetu come there. Introductions go around. Chandu teases Neetu a bit, and Kaku says that the family is always laughing around like this. Aai excuses herself and leaves.
Sanju glances at Sid again, who looks away. Neetu sees this and tells Sanju that something like this will not go out of her notice. She reminds Sanju that this is about Rachna's future as well, not just her own. Kaku asks Mrs. K about Vivek, and Mrs. K leaves to look for him.
-Patil House - Gates-
Prakash is lighting firecrackers and Rachna comes there to see if the barat has arrived or not. A firecracker goes off at her feet, but as she is falling back, a boy catches her. Prakash sees this and runs to see if she's okay. He thanks the boy for saving her.
Rachna introduces herself, but as the boy is about to say his name, more firecrackers go off, and his voice is drowned out. The boy then sees Mrs.K and goes over to her. She leads him over to the family, while Rachna is standing puzzled.
-Courtyard-
Mrs. K introduces Vivek to everyone. Chandu teases Neetu a bit more. Mrs. K asks about Prakash and Rachna. Kaku says that Prakash is at the gates, preparing for the barat. She tells Neetu to get Rachna. Sanju stops Neetu and says that she will go get her.
-Gates-
Sanju finds Rachna standing lost and staring off towards the house. When Sanju asks what she is looking at, Rachna says she is waiting for the barat. Sanju says that the barat will come from outside, not the house. Rekha's barat is already here, but now they need to go and fix Rachna's barat.
Then Sanju asks her what she was really looking for. Rachna says that she just met her Prince Charming, but couldn't hear his name. Sanju says that she is soon about to become Mrs. Kulkarni, and if she doesn't concentrate, then she will tell Kaku. Rachna asks whether she concentrated on Vikram Kulkarni. Sanju says that they are good girls, and even if they aren't, they can still pretend.
-Courtyard-
Sanju brings Rachna to the rest of the family and Kaku introduces her and the 3 Kulkarni's to her. Vivek is glad to see that Rachna is the girl he met earlier. Rachna is uninterested and doesn't even look at Vivek. Mrs. K seems very happy with both Sanjana and Rachna.
Prakash comes there and everyone is introduced again. Prakash sees Vivek and exclaims that Rachna and Vivek have met before. Rachna finally looks up and is happy to see that her Prince Charming is Vivek.
Sanju teases Rachna about grinning so broadly and Rachna explains to her that Vivek is her Prince Charming. Sanju says that this is called Kismat. They both start giggling.
Vikram notices and says that this is the first time he's seen Sanju smiling, and he tells her that she should smile more often.
Someone exclaims that the barat is here, so everyone rushes towards the gates.
-Gates-
The barat is here and everyone is dancing and happy. Meher looks sad, while Karan looks irritated. People are making him dance.
Kaku tells Neetu that she could have found Rekha a Marathi boy, but Neetu is glad that Rachna found a good Marathi boy.
-The Girls Room-
Rekha, dressed like a bride, is peering outside, trying to get a glimpse of Karan. Sanju and Rachna come there and start teasing Rekha. Rekha asks about Karan's appearance and Sanju and Rachna tease her some more about it.
The 4 older women come there and Neetu tells all of them to behave, and implies not to become like Sanju. Manju tells her to let them have fun today. Rachna silently apologizes to Sanju.
Rekha stops in the hallway in front of a mirror to double-check her appearance when the mirror falls to the ground and breaks. The 3 girls stare into it in shock, while Kaku says that this is a huge ill-omen.
