MY previous post really wasn't about Marjorie, it was about Lucky's actions. If he has dared to fall in love with Marjorie, then he should have the guts to fight for his love/feelings for Marjorie as well. I cannot feel bad for a guy who is not only belittling Komal because she is fat, but who is also putting her in an awkward position in front of his father, who is someone he can't even stand up too.

Between all this the only one who is really suffering if Komal, because she is living in a society where he only only choice is either to commit suicide or to marry a guy who doesn't have any respect for her.

Komal is the only one I feel for, because despite knowing that no one wants her, including her own brother and sister in law, she is trying to make the best of the situation. I loved her confidence yesterday when she claimed to turn that metal ring into gold with her love and patience. And I love the analogy the writers have used with the metal ring. We all know that metal has to go through a lot of heat and hits to turn into gold. So she knows that she has a long way to go before her relationship with her new family and her husband will have to go through a lot of heat before its becomes something as precious as gold.

I feel bad for Komal , in a city , I mean an urban girl can get herself educated , get a job and if she can not find a guy who accepts her as she is , can stay single lifelong . Marriage is not the only option there . But in a village , if a girl is not perfectly pretty , or has some society decided shortcomings...life is so difficult for her . For a sensible and intelligent girl like Komal , getting insulted and rejected again and again just because she has a few more kilos in her body than society has decided...it's really unfair .
