Another thing that makes it different is that, generally, it has a positive note attached to it. For example, Sarla is using the little girl only for revenge but since she needs her, she has no other way than to protect her from Mata Kusum, like the time when she went to apologize to her for the fact that Devanshi has stolen the lotus flowers. I liked that even if it was not genuine.

Also, Devanshi's dad and her mama, even if they never take strong actions to protect Devanshi, is good to see their interactions with the little girls, their simple conversations. Many shows lack this. They have too much drama or too much romance, but they fail to present some meaningful conversations between the characters.

P.S. You're Katori, right? From Udaan Forum? But you changed your name. So nice to see you here! It is always a pleasure to converse with you.

Hi Etna! Yes - Katori here, just a new username. It is nice to meet you again. I heard from the grapevine that you quit the other show. 😊

I am loving the show, even though Devanshi's hardships is not very different from other heroines - the overall treatment is very different and the little girl is just adorable.

I also love the background music on the show about the victory of truth.

The lack of guile in the kids is shown so nicely too - as well as their sibling rivalry. Like Sakshi's complaints over her need to go to school and do home work. Then the scene of the two of them counting the money in their piggy bank - and Sakshi wanting the credit for her idea!

Am liking how it has been portrayed here - very realistic. It is focused on small day-to-day events and not like OTT full blown hate like on many other shows.

Hi, Katori 😊

That's true. I've left that show for the time being. Too much cruelty, patricide-infanticide...my sensitive heart can only take so much!

Although, I must say that the first episode that I've watched from Devanshi was very dark, with Mata Kusum killing Devanshi's parents. So, I said that I was not interested, but it ended on a positive note by introducing the grown-up Devanshi and that beautiful music that you mentioned. I wanted to see what's going to happen next and I've got attached by the family scenes.
