I dont understand why Raman and Ishita were sooo concerned about getting Shagun remarried but they dont care about Simi and how she is sitting at home without a life partner. Simi and Mani should have gotten married, both are calm and sweet people with their own kids and they would have been a great pair. I dont get if she is still married to Param (wasnt he dying before?) or if she is single.

Simmi is divorced long back

When Ishita was having fracture and Raman was in US

They tried hooking Subbu with Simmi once upon a time, which turned out to be complete disaster.

Simmi was heartbroken that time and decided to be an independent women rather than getting hooked and hurt again and again

After that Simmi went for course which was related to entrepreneurship

In Bhoot track again, Simmi was in touch with Param as he was ill; even Simmi was accompanying him for his treatment. Post leap, they still talk with each other for Ananya

So you can conclude what status of Simmi actually is, legally they got divorced

I was really confused when she called Param regarding Ananya and was still calling him "Param ji". I just hate hearing her say things like "I am sitting in my brothers house, I owe him for this". She may want to be an independent woman but they could still find an independent man (like Mani) for her. I dont know, I just feel Mani was a good fit for her, not Shagun.

even I feel the same
but than shagun is more important for the cvs than simmi since she needs a bank account for all her spa and designer sarees expanses

Well this show does like to recycle people all the time. Mihirs long time girlfriend married the Bhalla enemy Ashok (for Mihir) and then eventually married Romi, Ishitas ex was supposed to marry Simi, the girl obsessed with Mihir is eventually engaged to Adi, Ramans ex married Ishus best friend. I guess the same way, once Shagun is exposed maybe Mani will divorce her then marry Simi lol.
