Best supporting actress award? I don't know who'll get the award or not but she doesn't deserve it I mean no freaking way.
Shabana Azmi toh bohut dur ki baat hain. There are many strong contenders this year for Best supporting actress category. Ratna Pathak, Kirti Kulhari etc. Shabana Azmi's performance in Neerja is legendary. She was the soul of the film. God damn every time I watch the last speech on the death anniversary. It breaks my heart & cry each n every time :( Such was the impact of her performance!!! She carried the whole movie on her shoulders. I can't even imagine the film without her & the last monologue... She brought in the emotion & life to Neerja. 👏

She should get it imo. Shabana obviously had a better role, but what Aishwarya did with Saba is applause worthy. With limited substance, she made a big chunk of audience root for her.

She was absolutely terrific in her last scene, still resonates in my mind. The ' vulnerability within the strength' was so well enacted, kudos to her.

I hope it is tie between her and Shabana, Ash deserves recognition for this.

I didn't know if this post was serious from its title. Aish's role did nothing for the movie. She played her part well but it was nothing extraordinary.

Ash's only role in the movie was to look beautiful which she did that is all.

May be if her father-in-law buys..
