My issues were i never really understand why Ayaan falls so deeply in love with her.Yes they spend a few days or weeks together having fun as friends but they dont share any emotional or deep experience that wouLd explain why Ayaaan falls so deeply in lovE with her that he is unable to get over her and move on.

Chalo lets accept he did fall for whatever reason but then why cant he just be happy for her?We have seen movies in which first half is about one sided love like YJHD and Jab we met but still in the second half characters are happy and have moved forward.They dont demand love back because they are happy for the person they love.

Two times when Ayaan ranted about his love not being returned i found it childish.Right after the dinner with Saba he again asks Alizeh to love him back.At this point Alizeh is married.What did he really expect her to do?Turn her back on her husband and love him.I mean come on.He cant even respect the marriage of the woman he loves.

Second,the last one.I mean Alizeh was dying of cancer .His problem was trivial in front of this.

Theres a very thin line between love and obsession..and unrequited love is really obsession.. coz 'bas wahi pyaar hai jiske badle me koi to pyaar de'..

Agree about the last cancer scene..but if u think from Ayan's POV ..in his mind it was his last chance to get an answer..however childish..however immature. that was him.

About why Ayan fell in love with her..enough is said about his childhood and their bond..maybe a book or blog by KJo can do more justice than a limited time movie..can be considered a drawback of the movie if it didn't convince u.

For bold..there's a dialogue from some show or movie i dont remember the name. the guy meets girl after she is married( or vice versa) ..and the married person asks" khush ho?" to be asked in return " tum khush ho?" when the answer is yes pat comes the reply " phir main kaise khush ho sakta hoon? tumhe kisi aur ke saath khush dekhkar"..and that is true about how a human mind works

About alizeh..she loved ayan but was not in love with Ayan..

Which literally means she loved the love Ayan had for her..so she couldn't let go..she thought losing touch..breaking away from him would break Ayan down..so she stuck around even after her mrg..she went off only after Ayan told her to ..coz maybe she was hurt that Ayan didnt recognize her gesture or she felt he was finally able to move on...

If FK-Anu part was fully show, there was a chance to establish the fact that Anu fears the complications of love life, so doesn't want to loose Ayaan

Sadly, it was never shown , so her stubbornness came as stupid to many.

This Editing has spoiled narration and flow of movie

They really messed up by trying to please certain people.

I really wanted to love the film and for the most part like I said in my review I did enjoy but I didn't feel, nor connect with Ayan fully. I never felt sad that he couldn't be with Alizeh. The *spoiler* cancer track ruined it further, I never felt for Alizeh at all. Otherwise Alizeh was well written and I liked how she was firm that for her it wasn't love in the romantic sense but a real friendship. But somewhere something has gone wrong.
