Tired of films sold on chemistry

I get that the actors who have great chemistry might do more onscreen but, why are film promotions based on this? Or why make it their focal point of the film?

I agree. Chemistry is over rated , it fails without a good story.

I wasn't trying to make a point that some of those films didn't have good content. just that a lot of the promotion came across as "their chemistry". 😉
