The basic emotion here is her son's fascination with Soumya, instead of sitting down with him and reaching a positive conclusion to this she has opted to go the crazy route, wreaking havoc in every one's life. Someone should tell her she needs to tone her vocal chords, her screeching is getting unbearable day by day. She is what is called a bad influence on not only her own family but also collectively on the society abusing her money and power to tear Soumya's life to shreds. I am sure given the situation had she and Harak reasoned with their son instead of throwing Soumya out of the house Harman would've gladly returned Soumya to Nimmi safe and sound, considering this is his intention now too.

In today's episode Kareena tells Mallika that even though she loves Soumya like a mother, Soumya's happiness lies with her family. Mallika very sagely tells her that she can't live in that world, excuse me wasn't that world the one where she was living before you decided to abduct her. If it hadn't been for Mallika Nimmi might even have let Soumya attend school and college at least give her some sort of normality in her life not raise her totally dumb, no offense to Soumya or Nimmi. Get a life Mallika and let Soumya be.

Coming from a South Asian family I do understand the importance children hold in the continuation of the family's progeny but never have I ever seen someone so obsessed with grandchildren. Come to think what if Harman had been sterile and Soumya normal. Would Nimmi and Maninder have created the ruckus over children that Harak and his illiterate wife have created over Soumya's sexuality. As for his reputation, yes I agree the sub continent has not yet progressed like Western nations where all sexualities are accepted and understood regardless of the family's reputation. So his daughter in law turned out to be a Transgender, it's not like it is a disease that his family has contracted. Hiding her from all and then accepting his wife's melodrama in throwing someone's daughter out of the house separating her from her family is cruel. No wonder Karma has come to bite them in the form of Raavi's in laws.

Soumya's very own Knight in Shining Armour does he not understand that he loves her? How many more abductions, fire rings and abusive patches does she have to go through for him to understand that Nimmi is unable to protect her now. That she needs him, and yes dear Harman you are supposed to be with her come what may. You honestly think handing her off to Nimmi will allow her to breathe freely. That your tyrannical mother and her pathetic father will rest till she is wiped off the face of this world. Why does Harman never talk to Soumya heart to heart does she not deserve this? He calls himself her friends don't friends exchange thoughts and here he KNOWS she loves him. Dear God I want to thwack him on the head, for his blissful oblivion.

Anyways I guess I got all riled up after watching Preeto pronounce that photograph girl as her new bahu, felt like feeding her to mice in that moment...done ranting!!!
