forget about Indian culture... it is said world over, that there is physical betrayal (when a person sleeps with someone other then the spouse / lover) and there is emotional betrayal (when you are married and still loves another) so dont you think Vivi is betraying RAvish here ??

I understand that it takes time to move on from your love. But you cannot keep your feet in two boats.

IF Vivi wants to stick to marriage then she needs to curb her feelings for Atharva. IF she still loves Atharva, then parading as RAvish's wife, while loving Atharva and keeping fast for him, is purely cheating Ravish.

See, telling everything to viewers will ruin the show, maybe, but atleast they need tp show her irritation. Her pain, her heart break.

Here one second she asks Ravish out for a date. Goes on a candle light dinner. Watches stars with him like lovers. And next day she wants to fast for Atharva, is that normal ?

There is a reason marriage is different then all other relationships, right ? You can have many siblings, many uncles, many aunts, even parental figure can be many. But there can be only one spouse / lover / husband / wife. And KC is for that unique relationship. So any woman / man cannot keep fast for anyone, any beloved just for their safety...this fast is kept by a lover / wife / husband for their lover / spouse.

Hence Vivi shouldnt have kept this fast. She couldve done some other normal fast for Atharva. That wouldnt made it seems as if she is cheating anyone.

I would consider is as cheating if they had shown her conspiring and plotting against Ravish and his family for some selfish reason...

Accepting Ravish as her husband as a part of deal and accepting him as her husband emotionally are two different things...

Yes KC is a special fast kept for husbands and wives but what makes it special is the emotional bond between the two people... Its not special because we are since decades told that it special...

As a person I believe in getting into the root cause of the problem... The context in which Ravish and Vividha is different than the normal marriages we see around us... She was forced into it.. Kailash forced her into it.. This in fact was the plot of her character that u can be forced to marry but not forced to love..For a time being if keep aside the speciality of marriage and discuss the emotional status of Ravish and Vividha, then they are both doing the same thing to each other... Dodging each other for the sake of the persons whom they love... If u observe the scene where Vividha faints and says she has seen someone in the room .. Ravish looks around at the family and discards her argument.. Perhaps because he does not want to hurt the sentiments of his mother whom he loves the most.. He lets Vividha live in oblivion not because he wanted to or because he has some bad intent but due to Ramakant he has been "forced" into circumstances he is not emotionally into... Other than that he is not an ill wisher of Vividha... A lot was discussed about this scene as well..

Same is Vividha's case... Its not that she wishes bad for the family... Its just that emotionally she will always belong to Atharv... The basic element that makes these rituals and traditions as sacred is "LOVE" ... Why KC is so special for us ?? Or why are we so sensitive about it ? May be because we have seen our parents or people around us who fast for each other's well being... But they don't fast to show it to the world... Its between them and God.. Its personal.. When it comes to asking something from God.. Naturally a person will always ask for whom he/she loves the most or for whom they feel emotionally about...

Injustice is definitely happening with Vividha, Ravish and his family and not only Vividha, they all have options to tell each other the truth but I won't be able to term them as cheaters and betrayers unless their " intentions " become wrong... They are doing what maximum they can do for each other... They are going their way if not our or conventional way... Plus the injustice happening is a result of Kailash and Ramakant's decision not theirs...

Rest its not that I completely disagree with you... Telling the truth is the only option they have with each other if they want to sort the things out between each other and like u I too have my questions and points for all the characters which I feel it will be better if the clarify... But then again they will take their own time for the revelations... \
