EPILOGUE
One year later
Shravan was sword practicing that's when he felt an intruder in the room. He looked here and there but couldn't find any. He closed his eyes and tried to feel the intruder's movements and felt that intruder is towards his left. In a swift motion he attacked the intruder from his back ,put his sword on his neck and removed the veil from his face only to be welcomed by a beautiful face of a woman.
"A woman intruder in my palace I m surprised don't you know no one I mean NO ONE dares to intrude here."
"But I dared and your guards can't even stop me hell they don't even have idea that I m here. Sorry to say this my king your defence army consists of bunch of losers"
"Don't you know what punishment do intruders get and my defence army consists of best warriors of the world."
"I know that very well they are punished to death and if they're this efficient then how they let me in "
"Still you dared that and they let you in cuz maybe I wanted that"
"Yes!!!! I dared that"
"You got guts ha"
"I got lot more than guts"
"Aren't you scared"
"If you have forgotten my king then I am a warrior and warriors don't know how to get scared"
"I must say you're brave"
"Should I take it as a compliment or a taunt"
"Take that as whatever you want."
"May I know what made you intrude in my palace like this."
"I came here to challenge you."
"Challenge. ... me... don't you think I already won the challenge."
She looked at him with a smirk. He didn't knew how and what happened next all he knew was that she came out of his grip turning the tables on him. Now she was behind him with a sword around his neck
"What say my king did I really lose the challenge"
"Well I have to admit that you got something in you ... Intruding in my palace now you are having a sword around my neck that no one has ever dared. "
"Tch tch tch... I pity the your people my king who thinks that their king is unbeatable but they don't know that a woman has dared to beat the king."
"Isn't it a pleasure to get beaten by a beautiful woman."
"Are you trying to flirt with me an intruder"
"Well one can't help it when they've got such a beautiful intruder. "
" Don't you think your wife would mind it."
"She doesn't needs to know what happened over here."
"Ahhh so the king got bored of his wife"
Hearing the name of his wife he became furious and pushed her to nearby wall thus coming out of her grip again put the sword on her neck but this time with the intensity that the sword slightly pierced her pale white skin.
"I can never get bored of her."
"Shravan... relax" she gasped
Hearing his name from her mouth he calmed down and looked at her neck from which few drops of blood has oozed out. He removed the sword from her neck and dipped his head in her neck suckin the blood thus in the process caressing the skin of her neck that made her grab his hairs pulling him more into her,a loud moan escaped from her mouth. After caressing the skin of her neck he moved a bit away from her and grabbed her by her waist looking directly into her eyes.
"I can't hear a word against my wife not even from my wife."
"I m sorry my king but it's fun to tease you."
"Not like this suman."
"I m sorry shravan that won't happen again but you need to be a bit careful towards me."
"Why what happened I guess you love the rough side of me."
And that statement of his made her cheeks turn pink due to blushing
"Yeah... but..."
"What happened suman you're fine right " he got worried.
"Yes I m fine it's just that..."
"Just that what... suman you're scaring me please."
"Shravan I. ... wo ... I"
"Suman i know your vocabulary is better than mine you can say much more than this."
"I... yeah I won't be able to fight in the war for nine months."
"What but why suman you were never like this you're fine right"
"I said I am fine shravan."
Ok this is more difficult than what she had thought even her confession hadn't been that difficult that had happened in a flow of emotions but this ... how was she going to say this aloud and her idiot husband... can't he guess. So True men are dumbest creatures of the world. Finally she decided to give him another clue and if he didn't guessed it then it will be proved that he is dumbest of all men species and tonight the king is going to be thrown out of his own room let anyone else say what they want to.
Taking a deep breath she placed his hands on her stomach
"What happened your stomach is aching but how is that supposed to last nine months is there something serious."
"Shravan you're impossible"
"I m just worried"
"You know what you don't need to come to our room."
She furiously went towards their room he too followed her not knowing what wrong he has done. He was about to ask her about it but shut the door on his face saying he won't be allowed to enter the room until he figures out what she wants to say. How was he going to figure that out... women no one even god can't figure out what is going on in their mind then how was he supposed to know that maybe he should forget his room until she decides to have some mercy on him. He was about to bang the door again but saw his guards who were silently laughing at him
"What happened have you never been thrown out of your room."
"Many a times my lord."
"Its my first time."
"We know my lord."
"So do your job" he said getting irritated
"Yes my lord."
He went towards the guest room thinking about what wrong he has done that his wife got mad at him but couldn't find any. Sighing he sat under a nearby chair and from faraway he could see it was pushkar has he also been thrown out of his room... what's wrong with these women nowadays. But preeti can't do this she's not a devil like suman she's sweet. Shravan thought.
After shraman marriage a month later pushkar too got married to a sweet princess 'princess preeti'. Though it was an arranged marriage but with time love bloomed in their relationship.
"What happened brother you're here."
"Thrown out of my own room are you too..."
"Thankfully no actually ppl were talking about the king is thrown out of his own room by the queen so..."
"Yeah so you're here to enjoy the scene wow pushkar what a brother you are but don't forget you too got a wife you'll also be facing this some day. "
"I don't think so. Well may I know what have you done that made my sister in law to do so "
"Why are you always on her side"
"Cuz she is always right and you surely must have done something I know that"
" I dunno even I am thinking what happened suddenly to her."
"Explain"
He explained everything that happened during his practice session actually not everything
"What????"
"What what??"
"How can you be so dumb brother if I was at your place and humeira at suman's place she would have kicked me out of palace not just room."
"Preeti will never do that she's so sweet and what have I done?"
"She can do a lot more than this trust me if I won't be surprised if someday I'll find myself hanging at the highest point of palace if I'll do anything wrong and you are asking me what you have done ...brother suman is trying to say that you're going to be a father"
"Am ... I really " he can't believe that
"B...but how?????"
"Brother do I need to explain that too what's wrong with you brother"
"No... it's just I can't believe this is all happening in real I am going to be a father is this for real"
"Yes brother... congratulations"
"Thanks pushkar I need to see her"
"You're thrown out of your room remember"
"Do hell with her punishment I can't wait till morning to see her and she herself said I can't enter my room until I find out what she wanted to say now I have figured that out"
Pushkar laughed at his brother's excitement
"Ok go hope to see you alive tomorrow"
"You will 😉"
Shravan ran towards his room and smiled to see the door was not locked from inside. She must be feeling miserable after throwing him out he knew his wife. As he stepped inside their room and locked it from inside he was engulfed in a hug
"I m sorry "
"Its ok suman you've got the right to throw me out whenever you want and frankly I did act like a stupid that time. "
"That's cuz you are stupid. "
"Atleast you could have said something else"
"Shravan are you happy about the kid."
"You are asking me whether I am happy or not suman this is the best day of my life actually second best first one was when we got married you don't know suman how much I've waited for this day and now when it has finally arrived I don't know how to react."
"I m glad suman before I was bit scared but now I can't wait to hold our child."
"You know suman when I first saw you holding a child in your arms that was when I decided that I want to see you holding our child in your arms that we both will make with our love. That was only when I realised that I want to spend my whole life with you also that I love you"
"That's why you were staring at me the whole time like a hawk."
"You realised."
"Ofcourse actually not only me many did"
"Thank you so much for such a beautiful gift suman. I can't wait to see you holding our little prince in your arms"
"You've mistaken my king its going to be a princess"
"Nope prince I m the father I know that"
"And I m the mother I know that it's going to be a princess "
"Its going to be a wise brave prince like me. I can't handle another suman"
"Oh really even I can't handle another shravan so its going to be a beautiful and brave warrior princess."
"Suman you know I have an idea let's have a prince this time and then soon we'll try for a princess then again a prince then a princess and so on. "
"Always one tracked mind even during a heated argument you find your own way don't you."
"Not my fault my beautiful wife has spoilt me so much that I can't help but think about her all the time and now since the time I got to know that she is going to be the mother of my child all I want to do is kiss her senseless and make her spend the whole nine months in my arms so that I can't miss any single moment of this beautiful phase of our life I think she has done some black magic on me. What do you say" he said placing his one hand on her now flat stomach
"I think you are right my king so what punishment she should get" she said with a mischievous smile as she already knew what's coming next
"Punishment... how about I show her I think I should show her my style of punishment 😉 " with last words he picked her up in his arms and placed her on their bed. With one hand caressing her belly he showered it with numerous feather light kisses scared that he might hurt her or their child if went further little bit harsh like usual. Suman smiled at his protective nature and pulled him up to face him. Soon their lips intermingled with each other giving in to their instincts.
"I hope I could become a good father" he said breathing heavily as they came out of the kiss
"You will shravan infact you already are... a king is like a father to his people you only said that right and everyone here knows how good father you are. I have no doubt that you are going to be the best father to our child too."
He smiled at her words taking her into another kiss and soon they were in their own private world enjoying their first step of parenthood.
On the other side of palace pushkar too was thrown out of his room cuz he too failed to get the clue that his wife is pregnant. Though being gracious that his wife is she told him that he's going to be a father but that also meant that she'll not let him step into his room atleast tonight. Sighing he picked up his night clothes went to the guest room... great ...a while ago he was lecturing his brother that how dumb he was and here he too did the same.
