Ash probably feels strongly about this because Salman and SRK also did try to sabotage her career. In fact Karan wasn't successful in removing Anushka from RNBDJ but Salman and SRK were successful in dropping Ash from a lot of movies... and yet she survived. Why Ash is very appreciative of Karan here is because he has the guts to publicly admit how wrong he was, whereas Salman and SRK never did that. SRK did apologize to her in private, but to do it publicly requires a lot of balls. Kudos to Karan here.
