Thug Is No More Thug
Yash Raj Films is all set to bring Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan together in Thugs Of Hindostan, to be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. Initially, there was talk that the film was based on the English novel, Confessions Of A Thug by Philip Meadows Taylor. But the latest buzz says something else.
If sources are to be believed, the film is on the lines of Hollywood film Matchstick Men, an American black comedy that released in 2003. The director is currently writing the final draft of the film and once Dangal releases, he will give a final narration to Big B and Aamir Khan, together. The film will be shot in India and overseas, and both the actors will be seen in a totally new avatar.
The film will start rolling in the second half of next year and is set to release during Diwali 2018.

Salman To Get Race 3 Narration
The producers of Race 3 are playing it very safe and are making sure that everything stays under wraps. We hear that the script is complete and soon they will be meeting Salman Khan for a narration of the final script.
When they narrated the rough idea to the actor, he had asked them to come back with a bound script. That's why the Tauranis, the producers, will be narrating the final script to Khan, whom they have approached to play the negative lead in the film. We also hear that the producers are yet to sign a director and are talking to some new directors, so that they can make Race 3 look stylised.

ARH Opposite Ranveer Singh
We all know that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is gearing up for his next film,Padmavati, and the director has signed Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh as the lead cast. Box Office India has got wind of the fact that there is another leading lady joining the cast, Aditi Rao Hydari, who will be seen playing Singh's wife in the film.
The film starts rolling in the first week of November and a large set is being built in a suburban Mumbai studio. Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Bhansali Productions, the film will hit cinemas on November 17, 2017.

The Idea That Created Dangal
It's always fascinating to know the story behind the spark of an idea for some of our iconic movies. In the case of one of the most anticipated movies of the year,Dangal, not many know that back in 2012, it was a small article about Mahavir Singh Phogat in a leading newspaper which caught the attention of one of Disney's creative executives, Divya Rao, and inspired her to imagine a movie about the Phogats. The article was about Mahavir Singh Phogat's decision to train his two daughters in wrestling, a sport commonly perceived as a man's domain, not just in our country but more so in a state like Haryana!
When Rao pitched Dangal's story to Siddharth Roy Kapur and other senior members of the Disney team, they instantly fell in love with it and found the story inspirational enough to want to tell it on the big screen. The next step was to bring someone on board who had the talent and passion to pen the story and direct it. And they decided that Nitesh Tiwari, who had just co-written and co-directed their heartwarming film Chillar Party, was the best choice.
Tiwari immediately saw the heart and soul in the story and set off for Haryana with Rao to meet Mahavir Singh Phogat and his wrestler-daughters. Once the Phogats agreed to tell their story to the world and Tiwari had penned a script that brought it all alive, Disney approached none other than Aamir Khan to essay the character of Mahavir Singh on the big screen. He loved Tiwari's narration instantly - and the rest, as they say, is history!

Guess Who?
This production house is known for doing things their own way. It is also known to be not-so-media-friendly. Recently, the company decided to create history by releasing the trailer of their upcoming movie overseas. They also decided to take a few media persons along with them, to cover the event. Sadly, the plan boomeranged.
Although everything went well, the people they took along didn't give them enough media coverage. The one's who were invited didn't give it any coverage. Remember, this is not a media-friendly production house!
Sources say the production house is blaming its new marketing head, whose idea it was to take the local media overseas. Sigh!
