The set is grand, the costumes are classy but the show is sheer disappointment. promos of the show were quite interesting no doubt bt it also extravagant my expectations in which the show fails miserably. leave history, I don't even go for it bt as story also it fails in very first two weeks. The script is too poor, scenes r poorly copied from various films and shows, overburden with illogical VFX. Moreover, everything seems so forced, from maha Padma nav cruelty to chanakya's revenge. From Chandra's sternness to Nandini's bubbliness. I feel with its fast pace the show fail to create the major relation in Chandra's lyf dat is Chandra-Chanakya relation. And Ekta plz stop showing forced romantic scenes in unwanted circumstances. We know it is a romantic show and leads will fall in Luv eventually, bt don't force the audience to it. Just make it with a flow. That cheesy drama lyk blood- filled head partition is way too filmy to be taken. Seems like Ekta is desperate to show them as a couple. Rajat is as usual great in his part. No lacking from his side, but he can't do anything if the script doesn't give him dat very much space to act. And to be honest, after so many Historical shows, I really want him to see in some different roles( Not navela type absolutely). Hope the show takes its real pace soon otherwise, it will be hard to digest at least for me.

P.s: absolutely my own opinion about the show after two weeks, no intention to hurt anyone feelings.

You have pointed the exact issue

1) The show does not look like 350 BC show

2) Nandhini does not act mature like a 350 BC 16 year old would do

3) Nandhini bhabhi acts like a court jester than a princess

4) Only Nanda and Chandra and Chankya act their parts

5) Mura reminds me of bahubhali (where was the jail, its an open terrace lucky lady and lucky chandra)

6) Chandras antics are getting unbelievable now first going into nandas palace is illogical, meet him in war field, what do you have to find in nandas palace stupid guy. In 350 BC people fought wars with huge army, horse and elephants not by spying inside enemy palace

7) Nandhini giggling getting on viewer nerves and her bhabhi is most irritating character

8) No scenes between Nanda and his wife, always nanda and mura how nonsense (thats not modern 21st century where men lust after others wives, show some decency to CGM mother)

9) Nnadas obsession for daughter nandhini getting on viwer nerves, thaats 350 BC no father will spoil brat their daughter like Nanda(its not 21st century again CVs)

10) Nandhini and her brothers acting like juvenile teenagers in dad presence is another put off, where is that royalty, sanskar of 350 BC. I do not think before 18th century siblings acted like that in front of father, they would be all attention standartize like in front of school principal in front of dad(350 BC dad are not metrosexual 21st century dads they were strict and did not spoil kids rotten whether son or daughters)

11) No bonding between chankya and chandra all forced bracketted. I feel chankya is employer and chandra is employee no guru shishya

12) I doubt chandra saw nandhini before the war was won forget love shove, its an arranged marriage by chankya. Love was only after marriage not before

Story too fast, too abrupt, no proper conclusion to each track whether childhood, gurukul etc no bonding between students

Agree on most of the points given by both of you... definitely it doesnt look like a 350BC set up...

Anyways I m not really looking for any logic in the show... its a huge visual treat and i enjoy it...

@myviewprem... i disagree a bit regarding the sexuality of 350 BC rulers... because as far as i know, ancient times, sex and sexual stuff were considered in a different manner... we can see them in some of the historic monuments of the country... sex had a high priority in their lives then... and they were a bit open then than now...

I agree with all the points you mentioned in this post. Also, with Tm opinion.

Promos were nice, still I was not expecting much from this show for I don't like this actress.
Watching just for Rt and last 2 episodes were fine (If one want to see Rt only)

I agree, other things/characters are quite irritating andthey just copied the scenes from here and there.

They sent chandra to jail where only mura was present. How??

She always reminds me of Sita, sitting alone under a tree and chanting, mera chandra ayega(Like mere Ram lakhan ayenge😆)

I am not expecting anything.. Anything now.. but have to watch just for RT.

yah absolutely right points. you know what as a viewr I can say, I am failing to connect myself with the characters. nt with Chanakya's insult, not with Moora's disstressed aur Nandini's bubbly nature nt even warrior nature. Thats why all things seems so forced and fake to me. Nandini's bhabi character is the most irritating one. Earlier I have seen Javeda in Jodha-Akbar in dis type of role, bt dat character ws nt annyoyning, her antics with maham were watchable and enjoyable, bt dis one is totally disappointing. Even Chandra's character is need to be revamped, Rajat doing his part perfectly bt cvs must understand the Whole Chandra's character looks so liveless. Chandra seems a robot to me whom Chanakya just use,, evn his bonding with his friends is missing. Many things need to improve if atleat nothing bt maintain its stadard with BT's previous show.

Rajat is the main reason I have given a chance to the show, and also promos look promising, bt I am nt sure if I can continue or nt if this pace is going on. Heroin, well I also dont like her, her gestures are absolutely nt like 320BC princess. She act lyk a immature brat and terrible is, dat too seems fake and forced to me. In short I fail to connect myself with the show

U r right dear I wanted to see a good and decent story which is look like real and viewers can digest it.
I know it is history inspired fictional love story.
But because of poor vfx and over jumping or flying scenes , copy paste story , I couldn't not found any interesting thing in it. I did't like unnatural fight scenes.
For God's sake he is Chandra Gupta Maurya , a normal human being not any super man yaar.
I liked PRC's fighting scenes , they were naturally and beautiful.

And about heroin in reality I liked her in promos more than in serial episodes.

That's completely your opinion, I apologize for disagreeing a little. :))
Nandini's childishness, it's annoying a little.. With her Bhabhi yes. True.
I like the father daughter bond actually. Because I am not trying to find historical backing for things shown. I am not even trying coz I won't like it. Lol.
I also like Chandra Nandini scenes, for the same reason.
What I do not like, is Chanakya who is a wannabe strong character. I have seen two Chanakyas in CGM and CAS. They were brilliant, Chanakya doesn't have the 'Thaab'. Lol.
That's why I don't like their scenes together.

All Indian shows are crappy boring saas bahu bakwas. Chandra nandini is atleast entertaining for me.. It might be copy of bahubali or whatever..But all other Indian shows have been copying from other films..Tell me any Indian show which never copied any filmy scene.lolll. Even Naagin show ekta has copied bahubali so many times still people watch it na..
And Chandra and nandini scenes are cool for me..their story has not yet started..So give this fiction litl time...don't judge now itself..And draw conclusions..
