Somewhere I heard Rakhi is going to be the next BR. but it turned out Apu is now our BR. What happened?

I saw and that is why I am asking the question what happened to Rakhi becoming BR and why Apu turned into BR instead? May be all those were pure romours before?

rakis becoming br was rumour i thnk.. the very next day ..it was out tht appu vl become br... bt parag vl come bak for sure.. we need to wait to knw regarding appus whereabouts..so far they are potraying her as br..bt there is more to reveal for sure!!
