Jhil, even I do Shiv Ratri but none others that you've mentioned in the other thread,

And we do drink water in Karva Chauth fast. My mother, my MIL, my sisters we all drink water. They even have tea once throughout the day.

If my MIL don't have tea early morning she gets severe Migraine pains . So she has to drink tea.
