Deepika Padukone and Salman Khan launch Bigg Boss with a bigg' bang

After weeks of speculation and months of waiting, the biggest entertainment extravaganza, Bigg Boss, kicked off on COLORS at 9PM tonight. And whilst nervous contestants await their fate, the Bigg Boss stage will bear witness to oodles of glamour to start the celebrations. Joining megastar host Salman Khan for the grand premiere episode will be ferocious and Hollywood's newest inductee Deepika Padukone. Gracing the stage with oomph and grace, and tons of action, the Bollywood diva, dressed in black, performed to the theme song of her upcoming movie xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

Naming Deepika Padukone as a true blue action queen, Salman Khan will be seen applauding the actor about her latest offering while showcasing pure pride when mentioning her new avatar. In a fun banter, Salman will quiz Deepika about which Khan, between SRK and Aamir, she would like to see inside the Bigg Boss house, if given the power. And, curious to know how someone who is known to always say the right things and talk sparingly, Deepika will choose Aamir Khan. And that's not all! Deepika will reveal that along with Aamir, she would love to see director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and even Salman Khan locked inside the Bigg Boss house! Further, Deepika will also admit that between Ranveer Singh and her, the former would be more suitable inside the Bigg Boss house because he is a lot more entertaining than her and can diffuse any tense situation. So, if everyone is inside the house, who will host the show? Well, Deepika has a solution for that too! If given a chance, Deepika would love to see her international co-star Vin Diesel host the show.

Turning tables on Deepika, host Salman Khan will welcome Deepika Padukone as one of the contestants inside the Bigg Boss house this season. And, Deepika complies! As the gorgeous lady steps inside the Bigg Boss house to meet the contestants and get to know them better, we cannot help but wonder what the unassuming contestants might do watching her in the midst!

It is only a few hours to go for before Bigg Boss opens its gates for a fresh season of celebrities. But ever since the news about common people finding place inside the house this season made way, buzz around the television's most controversial show became stronger. Bigg Boss 10 is bigger, better and full of a much higher dose of action, romance and twists. Well, that's what the makers have promised the audience. As the show is set for a glittering premiere tonight, host Salman Khan will have a special guest to launch the season with him. It is none other than Deepika Padukone who will come to promote her Hollywood debut xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.
