Ahhh I've seen both of these films probably more number of times than I'd like to admit. KKHH always seems to get a lot of appreciation but Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is pretty neglected even in the Internet world. 😆 This film is like the ultimate guilty pleasure. I loved the constant nok-jhok and partnership between Amitabh and Govinda, the hilariously uncivilized sadak chap double role versions of them, the weird sound effects played in the background to generate humour, the inclusion of a random song after every 10 minutes and especially the Makhna song!! Yup, lots of nostalgia attached to this film. Play me any song of this film and I will go back in time. 😆

KKHH will always hold a special place in my heart. It was the first movie I saw in the theatre, and also the movie that represents SRK and Kajol's iconic pairing to me. ❤️ Yeah I saw DDLJ only in 2014 and didn't even like it 😆

I don't remember much from Bade Miyan.. except for the title track which is playing in my head now😛

But OMG 18 years since these movies released! I feel ancient.

I think Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was a better movie and the comedy was so funny hence why it can be watched so many times. Govinda & Amitabh's combo and chemistry was brilliant & comic timing as well. Paresh Rawal was good as the villain and was funny in a few scenes.

I was never a fan of KKHH but it dosen't mean I dislike it. It was a decent film. The storyline had a typical love triangle attached to it which is ok. Some parts were handled very well where Kajol is left heartbroken after being neglected.

The climax was predictable but its directed very well due the emotional scenes from SRK & Kajol. Salman provides some support as well.

SRK hams in some parts of the film but he acts very in emotional scenes. Kajol was superb in every catergory e.g. Comedy, Romance & Emotional scenes.

Rani isn't bad. Salman does well in his special appearance. Him & SRK were good friends at that time. There was a video SRK gave his award to Salman at Zee Cine Awards in 1998.
