Kangana Ranaut escapes unhurt in a car accident in US

New York: Kangana Ranaut recently had a narrow escape from an accident. Kangana is in the US shooting for Hansal Mehta's film 'Simran'. The incident occurred when she and a few members of her team were returning from the shooting location, which was outside Georgia, to their hotel in Atlanta.

Reportedly a local driver was behind the wheel and was driving in the leftmost lane that's meant for fast-moving traffic and suddenly he started coughing profusely and then blacked out while on the move. When the driver blacked out, Kangana's local bodyguard, who was sitting next to the driver, tried to control the car's movement by maneuvering the steering wheel. But apparently in that nervous moment, he couldn't control the vehicle, which swerved to the right and cut through three of the highway's lanes sharply, before banging into an iron fence.

Within minutes of the accident, the local police reached the spot. Kangana made sure that everyone else was well looked-after. Later, the film's makers ensured that Kangana and the others went to the hospital for checkups to ensure no one suffered from any internal injuries.
