Translation/ Explanation for PV scenes

Hi,guys..I'm watching this serial without subtitles.. I can understand slightly by seeing the scene and their body language..but if the dialogues are longer I'm not able to catch it.. anyone can help me to explain these scene I listed below??

a) the day after AarYa and PraDhi's wedding, after Aarthi and Paridhi cooked for the guests..some gave money to both of them but Aarthi and Paridhi looked shocked..is the amount given is different?? And the lady said something about that..

b)Ansh custody case.. Yash spoke emotionally on that scene..

For now I need explanation for these scenes..

A) They treated both of them differently. The money is Shagun. Like gift and respect. So they should give them equal respect. But as Aarti'S was second marriage so they did the different behaviour.
