Troubles seem to keep mounting for Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. After Fawad Khan, who won't be seen at any promotional event, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who also stars in the film has decided to stay away from the publicity of the film. The reason has more to do with the length of her role. Says a source close to the film, "Aishwarya has a 20-minute role in ADHM and Fawad has even less to do. Their roles are at the most, extended cameos. The reason why Aishwarya agreed to be in the film is Karan." Explains a source close to Ash, "Aishwarya and Karan were unable to come together in the past. Ash was signed for Dostana after she was engaged to Abhishek Bachchan. But she chose to walk out of the project. There were other offers from Karan which never materialised. Naturally, when he offered her ADHM, and when she realised she loved her role of a creative woman in charge of her destiny, she couldn't say no."
