Feels uncomfortable to watch Naitik Akshara romance

I don't know what others feel, but I feel very uncomfortable watching Akshara Naitik' s romance.They are the parents of 20+ year old kids. The culture of the show has been behind a conservative backdrop and this whole over the top romance looks so out of place. Everyone knows they love each other, but love at different ages is expressed differently.

It doesn't really affect me much since they are not real Naitik Akshara anymore for me. Naitik is changed. So it doesn't actually leaves a old charm which was there when Hina and Karan were together in show.

Besides, this current depiction is bit overboard; even young couples will not cover themselves with one blanket in a flight; and there is an over the top depiction of their closeness which draws criticism; understand that Akshara and Naitik have always been shown to be in love with each other, but because they were depicted as being young it was more acceptable. Now they can continue to show closeness but not over the top, clingy, sticky type of romance that does not suit a mature couple

One question for topicmaker & those supporting his/her comments..Are young couples allowed to do anything just becoz they are young?..Whatever creatives showed that every time or I can say mostly Kartik wants to get physical with Naira,Is this right way to show..I am neither favoring Naksh romance nor Kaira...But I must say YRKKH simplicity has lost already with Kartik's dreamy themes, sometimes Kartik dreams look so vulgar too, For this creatives have to be blame & I blame them for both Naksh & Kaira romance they are showing

Second thought--Maa-baap bann jaane se unki life khatm nahin hoti, usme paripakvata badhti hai, Sahi kaha this show showed us a drastic change when Ak & nk were young, they took time to move forward in relationship & they recognise love after marriage but now Kartik like people so fast forward, want yes instantly after proposal & want to be physical with girl mostly..His all dreamy sequences proved it..Time has really changed iin YRKKH,paraye ladhko ko ghar mein badhaker ser pe chadate rehte hain kyah pehle yeh sab nahin ker sakte the Nk,Ak, Still Naksh are best

As a viewer since 2010 and new on forums.. i too feel its a bit overboard to show them covered in single blanket.. i mean this kind of silly romance at an age when u have kids of marriageable age...

Sorry to say it was not a blanket first of all,It was a big shawl actually..I am neither in support of Naksh & their romance nor also of Kaira as I feel awkward with both the ways Naksh & Kaira romance shown by creatives, The show is getting too much filmy, clearly showed the dress up of both Naira & Kartik in dream dance sequences, So sexy & hot as we watch in movies..Elders neither like Naksh like romance nor like Kaira..BV has spoiled the simplicity of this show totally now..

There are so many narrow-minded people commenting in this thread. To all those people saying that naithik-akshara are too old to romance need to get out from under that rock. I am a big time kaira fan and only started watching because of them but i like that the cv's are showing romance between the older generation because love has no age, and love neither dies with old age. Please stop thinking so regressively. The lives of couples and their love for one another doesn't end when they have kids or their kids reach marriageable age.

Even though i have always disliked this show from the beginning as i feel none of the actors act naturally in scenes and overreact on every scene whether that be a happy, sad or dramatic scene, i always liked the progressiveness of this show where they showed the show starting with a very conservative backdrop and then the older generation eventually starting to become more open-minded with each track that was introduced.

I remember that i used to catch a few episodes of the show here and there throughout the years it has been on air and remember akshara being shouted at just for wearing a salwar kameez by her in-laws as the women were only allowed to wear sarees after marriage but now akshara only ever wears salwar kameez.

My point is that we are the new generation and it is our responsibility to improve society with our more progressive approach to issues, and this also includes avoiding propagating a mind-set or tradition that oppresses people and takes away their basic human right to live freely and happily.
