Colors' show Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki has managed to get humongous viewers and followers for the show by handling the bold and controversial topic of Kinnars (Transgenders) sensibly and maturely. The lead character of Shakti, Soumya played by Rubina Dilaik has been shown as Kinnar while the other leads are played by Vivian D'Sena (Harman), Roshni Sahota (Surbhi) and Kamya Punjabi as Harman's mother Preeto.
At this juncture in Shakti, after knowing Soumya's reality, Preeto has thrown Soumya out of home and Harman's life and currently Soumya is staying in Gurumaa's kinnar home. Preeto tries each and every possible way to stop Harman from locating Soumya and finally gives him the challenge of finding Soumya within 9 days of Navratri or else to forget her completely. Harman agrees for this and seeks Surbhi's help. Preeto doesn't stop here and creates lot of hurdles in Harman's way of finding Soumya.
During the Navratri, even Preeto is seen under tremendous tension and stress as she doesn't want Harman and Soumya to meet. Preeto aka Kamya Punjabi in real life is facing brunt of this ongoing story line in Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki as she is considered as the negative character of the show. Apparently, wherever Kamya goes as celebrity in the Navratri pandals, she is being pestered by the fans of Shakti and HaYa about Harman and Soumya's reunion.😆😃
In an recent interview Kamya Punjabi stated that though she enjoys the fact that Shakti has getting even more popular amid the fans, the continuous pester about Harman and Soumya's union in the show turns irritating and annoying at times.
