Next day, Arnav & NK are searching for their bike keys.
Prerna: What are you searching for?
Arnav: We're searching for the bike keys.
Bajaj comes in & said, "I have sold them."
Arnav, NK & Prerna are speechless.
Bajaj: Do you want to know why? Brij, tell them why.
Brij: Do you guys think I don't know what had happened about the incident which took place a past few days? We have got to know that from the outsiders. One of the persons known to me had happened to see you getting caught by the cops for drinking and driving. It is only because of you guys, we are not able to show our face to anyone. We had to bow before that salaried inspector only because of you people. Instead of beating you all, I've sold your bikes. You will get them only when you guys become responsible.
Arnav & NK are shocked. They asked, "Then how will we go to college?"
Brij: Walking in other words padhyatra. Now get ready for the college.
Arnav & NK go to the college by walk. They go to their classes.
They come down during the break. Sheetal runs towards Arnav & said, "Hi Arnav"
Arnav: Don't talk to me.
Sheetal gets shocked as he never talked to her like that before.
Sheetal: What hapened? Why are you talking to me like this? This is the frst time you are angry with me.
Arnav: Is it necessary to tell you the reason?
Sheetal: Is it because of the incident which took place a few days back? If that is the case, it is all gone. Forget the past.
Arnav: Fine, do you want to know what happened? Listen, it is because of that our bikes got confisticated. That too who did? It is not any outsider. My Big B has done it. He sold off our bikes & we had to come walking today. When you said that you want the golden necklace, I went out of the way & brought it for you though there is no relationship between us. Why didn't you tell your neighbours to bail us out? My mom blasted me because of you.
Sheetal: I was under the impression that you love me. That is why you bought the necklace for me.
Arnav: I don't believe in love & never had any such feelings for you. I'm not keen on keeping any relationship with you.
Sheetal is shocked.
Arnav continued: You are not even fit for being my friend. You are nothing but a gold digger.
Sheetal gets furious. She throws the necklace on him & walks away. Arnav takes the necklace & decides to sell it so he can get some money a cannot give it to Khushi for 2 reasons. One is, he does not want to give her the necklace which someone else had already worn & the second reason is she will never take it as she never expects anything from anybody. He also decides to approach Maan for singers job after his exams, hoping that he will come back.
Natasha runs towards NK & said, "I love you NK."
NK: Sorry, I don't love you Natasha. I've never looked upon you in that way.
Natasha: You are kidding. I know you do.
NK: I was kidding before but now I'm serious. I never had any such feelings for you in my life. I'm a flirt.
Natasha is taken aback: You can't do this to me NK. I love you a lot. I can't live without you.
NK: You are lying. If you had really loved me, you wouldn't have left me in the lurch at the police station. You would have done something to bail us out.
Natasha: Oh you are upset because of that? I'm sorry.
NK: What can your sorry do now?
Natasha: Why anything serious?
NK: Because of you, my mom had to come to the cop station to bail us out. My dad & bro have a good reputation in the market. It is because of you, they are unable to face peope around us. What to tell you. I am a fool to have listened to you. Our brother confisticated our bikes because of you. Can your sorry set these things right?
Natasha: I'm sorry for all that happened.
NK: Can you give me money to buy a new bike? Only on that condition, I can think about continuing my friendship with you.
Natasha: From where will I get money?
NK: That is your lookout. You bang your head or do anything but I want my compensation. I don't care how you will get it. You should've thought before forcing me to come with you for bar restaurant or done something to bail us out. Otherwise, that is the end of our friendship.

NK interrupts: Friendship has to be from both the sides. I don't want to hear anything from you. Get lost.
He leaves after saying that.
Later, Dev meets them. Arnav asked,"Has Maan come back?"
Dev: Not yet. It will take time for him. Do you have any problem?
Arnav: I need a job very badly & I know only Maan can solve it.
Dev: Do you need money?
NK: Yes.That is why we need a job.
Dev: If that is the case, why don't you come and enquire at the office. Maan has gone abroad. he might be busy in the meeting.
Arnav: I guess he is in touch with you.
Dev: Yes, but there is a time difference. Anyway, I will give him a call.If he picks up, you can talk to him.Otherwise, I will leave the message to his voicemail. As soon as he gets it, he will call back.
Dev dials Maan's number. However, Maan is unable to pick the call. Dev leaves him the message saying, "Hello bro, please call back."
Arnav: We will try for the job after our exams.
Dev: Yes, that will be better. If you need money immediately, I can talk to Maan.
NK: How you could not arrange for money when we needed 20K?
Dev: Maan was in the flight. So his number could not be reached. How much you need?
Arnav: Maybe 3 to 4k

Arnav hides the chain in his bag so he can sell it whenever he wants.
After the college hours, Khushi picks up Arnav in her bike to Lavanya's place whereas La takes NK to her place in her bike. All 4 of them are doing combined studies & working on economics project.
