He is National Award winner Actor, been in Industry for almost 2 & 1/2 decade, yet he is behind Khans & Hrithik Roshan. Although he is above Akshay Kumar, but that doesn't comfort anything to be at No.5 position after working so long in this industry.

He has also set the Record of giving 2nd Highest no. of Flops/Disaster after Akshay Kumar(He is No.1), but never he has given any BIG BLOCKBUSTERS.

No HGOTY - Highest Grosser Of The Year

No ATBB - All Time Blockbuster

ATG - No All Time Grosser

His Biggest Grosser

Singham Returns = NETT = 140 Cr > Distributor share = 77 Cr

Why is it that being such a talented Actor, he couldn't creat a solid fanbase on which he could have stardom like khans or roshan?

It's sad Ajay did not reach the position of the 3 Khans but still he has given so many praiseworthy performances like

Golmaal

Dilwale

HDDCS

Singham

The reason I feel that he couldn't manage to reach the top 3 is that he has been media shy and makes his work do the talking. He mentioned on Koffee with Karan that he barely watches his own movies while the other Khans spend a lot of time and effort in promoting their movies. It's just now that he's too doing the same but all this time, I could barely see him giving IVs.

Promotion don't give BIG BLOCKBUSTERS, Some of the Khans much hyped films have failed to live upto expectations, it won't matter how much u r in media.

If your film is SOLID, it will come as WINNER, depends on how much BIGGER.
