I am not even aware that during navratri fasting, total abstinence needs to be followed...show's rules n customs are becoming more regressive day by day.

True, even I've never heard of this abstinence rule.I don't know why the makers are bent on showing regressive things.And this show is set up in urban India with educated ML and FL,not rural where one might accept the possibility of such rules being followed.
