Some kind of this possessive mother is shown as gayatri in yeh rishta kya kehlata hai. Where is was so much possessive that she even got jealous when her son and DIL got consummated. But after having her grandson her focus shifted to him and she tried to posses him also. She was so much involved with her grand son that she put secondary to her son too.That's the mentality of these kind of mothers. They r completely obsessed.

By far the most convincing explanation and analysis about Iswari Dikshit.Oasis in a desert I must say as I am fed up of reading unimaginable interpretations regarding Iswari and her equation with Dev. Relieved after reading your post. Thank you very much for respecting a mother despite her lapses and using some great and hopeful words for her ( that she would become a great MIL) Thanks again for this wonderful thought.

I really give it to you the way you have put it. generally when majority will try to explain this concept, it might sound cheap. But the way you have put it will make anyone actually think in a non-cheap way and think deep coz the way its been written, it will be analysed and not judged..Kudos !!👏👏👏

Many who wud have a different view than yours might be forced to think again if their thought is correct and if they still wanna go with it or if they want to adopt ur thought...I say bravo again !!👏👏

I fall into the this category...I confess..I read this post. I thought it for sometime and I am really thinking deep even when I am typing..

Bang om! I have said the same begore. Ishwari sees her dead husband in Dev... this is a mental disorder. But not sure if Infian TV can handle this or maker's can do justice to this very serious, dark path they r taking the story to.
