You kidding, Ishwari has till date done everything to be in good books of Dev. Be it preparing halwa because she thought Dev is going away from her and she has to bring him back to her or getting Sona (his toy) for him by any means. She has no liking for Sona not before, not now. She is and will always be a evil cunning lady two faced lady. Something else in front of Dev and behind his back all evil. did you ever notice her crooked smile change when in and absence of Dev or the change in her tone of voice, the manner in which she speaks to people at different times. she is a typical saas, but a much more dangerous one than any known in tv world (or real life). Not saying such women don't exist in reality, must be.

She was tensed because of sonakshi, her son has started to hide or started lying to her because of sona.And other things, she is possessive and insecure mother for which dev is favourite to her and also due to that, she fears to lose him, and because of sudden changes in dev's behavior, she started thinking that dev have changed and after marriage, he maybe more...and will never listen to her or may leave her. It's clearly seen she is insecure.

So, don't think that she is jealous. She only fear to lose him.

Other things, marriage mein Jo bhi hua...usme ishwari ki kiya galti thi. Sab galti bua ki or sonakshi ke family ki thi...they didn't think about thier ritual and arranged marriage in thier tradition.

Most important thing is that agar marriage agar Bengali tradition SE ho rha h...toh Saadi SE phle unhe ladke walo ko sab information dena chahiya tha ki unke custom mein banarsi saari or alta use hota h...agar phle hi inform kiye hote toh, Saadi ke samay ye sab drama nhi hota.

And u r saying that bua ji ko rokna chahiye the drama create krne SE...toh bua toh ishwari ki bhi baat nhi sunti...agar kuch bhi tradition SE nhi hota h toh, wo ishwari ko bhi sunati h...infact Sabhi ko sunati h agar tradition follow nhi krta h toh.

And about today kitchen scene, i explained u in my above post that she only do that for her son so that he didn't get insulted by bua or outsider. Infact, usne toh sonakshi ko mna bhi kiya tha ki nhi aane ke liye.

I understand your POV. Hoever, mine is different. It was agreed shaadi will be bengali style. If dixit family were sooo rigid about their customs, then Ishwari shouldnt have agreed. If she was sooo wanting for sona to wear her lenhga, why she not say that? She cant have it both ways.. agree to others to keep her baby happy and then turn around do all drama and make a bride cry as soon ad she enters her wedding. If she wasnt gonna eat there why not make arrangements prior. Even dev had said.. u always eat before or make arrangements.. why not today???
