Vishal Singh has successfully stepped into Karan Mehra's shoes to essay the role of leading man, Naitik in Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Surprisingly, leading lady Hina Khan, who didn't get along well with co-star Karan, has helped Vishal get into the skin of the character. The duo had shot a few romantic scenes at the Swiss Alps recently. TVishal and Hina hit it off as co-stars right from their first schedule. Talking about his co-star, Vishal says, "Hina is extremely warm and co-operative. During our scenes together, she even gave me insights and nuances about Naitik's role."
The crew members who witnessed the shoot, insist that Vishal and Hina make for a great on-screen couple. However, given Karan's immense popularity on the show, it will a tough task for the actor to live up to the viewer's expectations. Point it out to him and the actor accepts it with a smile. He says, "Karan played the role for seven long years, and he was good at it. Naitik's character is a household name and there are a lot of expectations from me. I know for a fact that it will be tough for me to take on the role but I am game for it. Personally, I have taken it as a new beginning. The entire team has been supportive. I am excited about this beginning and hope to live up to the audience expectations."
