I know its late but there was something that we all missed in yesterday's episode amidst the nuisance and OTT drama in Dixit family.
I was already very much negatively preoccupied with lots of posts and comments before I actually get to see the episode. I knew Its not gonna be a good experience as there will be lot of Mighter than sword' stingy taunting from GKB and Dadi-Bua.
But having said all of that I just couldn't take off from my mind those first 5 minutes when Devakshi were sent to their bed room .
To my surprise the episode started off with a very positive and light Devakshi sequence. I loved how Dev lighten up Sona's mood with a glass of water. I never saw Dev seated that close to sona ever. I guess the sense of HAQ' is very much evident in that scene. GOD they were so much lost into each other. Specially Dev.
It was something worth noticing and was closest to reality. I was really impressed with the way CVs executed the whole 5 mins scene. It was good that CVs dint choose a cliche way of showing a wedding night with SUHAGRAAT HAI GHOONGAT UTHA RAHA HU MAIN' types scene. I was wondering if in real life that actually happens. Once the festivities are over and with so much of post wedding tiredness, I am sure the first thing any couple would do is helping each other in getting rid of all those heavy jewelry and pins that are sitting on the top of head. Devakshi looked so graceful portraying that wonderful moment.
The much needed aplomb to make each other realize that although our families are divided based on cultures , but today we have become one .and that remains the ONLY TRUTH of their wedding day leaving behind all the cultural differences and misunderstandings.
For once if we forget all the drama created by GKB and dadi bua and just remember that 5 mins scene.I think CV s never failed to impress us with the sensitivity and subtlety in Devakshi sequences.
Though we dint get what we imagined out of this wedding and wedding night specially. But I am sure Devakshi have the rest of their lives to make up for it and not being able to have intimacy on their wedding night.
That 5 mins scene did leave an impact and was true to life
