TFS! I enjoyed this Rendezvous.
Rishi and Neetu were pretty honest and open on the show... I think Simi being the interviewer helped, she is obviously very comfortable with Rishi having known Raj Kapoor family and Rishi from a young age / Mera Naam Joker times. I liked the nok-jhok between Rishi and Neetu, it was very endearing to watch. I can see why Neetu and him had such a volatile relationship, they both (as they admitted) have a lot of ego. I also liked how Neetu was like any heroine who flirts would be sorely disappointed with Rishi as she faced with his brattiness đ.
The only part of the interview I didn't enjoy so much was the focus on Rishi-Ranbir's relationship and Simi lecturing Rishi on how he should behave as a father. Yes, obviously Ranbir is a big deal for Rishi and Neetu, being the Kapoor ghar ka chiraag, but I would have liked to more know about Riddhima too, it felt a little too focussed on Ranbir and their relationship with him. I felt the interview became pretty awkward after that part with Simi being too intrusive.
