I can only say everyone deserves someone who loves them, treats them like they are the centre of their universe: for neither Tia or Shivaay that person is the other, so I firmly think it's a completely mutually destructive relationship.

Tia does not deserve Shivaay.

Shivaay deserves someone who doesn't rant about the universe but treats him like he and his needs matter. Someone who cares about him AND his family, his brothers, and does not have an issue understanding that one cannot smile under stress. Someone who knows what to do to completely distract him when he's insanely stressed about one deal or another and knows how to wind him down when he cannot sleep.

Tia deserves someone who can cope with her thoughts and understanding of the world and does not dismiss it, or her.

As simple as that :)
