I don't think she did anything intentional here although she may give a long lecture of her sacrifice and how she didn't make an issue out of all the food arrangement deal later to make Dev guilty like hell.

I agree that she might be cooking for her Buaji. But the point is had she eaten before leaving and had some snacks/fruits/ milk (during wedding/on the way or after reaching home)she would not get sick. Also by ensuring the same for Buaji this whole starving-cooking-fainting could have been avoided. That's what most of us do in such situations right? Even if she would have cooked for Buaji after having those small meals, she would have been able to do so without falling sick. That's why her actions seem suspicious. She manipulates the situations on a subconscious level. So its possible she might be using her health without even actually giving a conscious thought to it.

Some old people in my family are also pakka vegetarians and don't even eat out. They always go to all the weddings to give their ashirvad but are fed before they go. They don't even stick around for the whole function and some family member brings them back to their room so they are refreshed and rested. Even if she was cooking for Buajee, didn't she know in advance that non veg food was being catered so she should have fed her. Also, there are so many young people around, she could have asked any one to preapare som3thing for the buajee. The difference between her and buajee is that buajee is still stratight forward about her beliefs , ISHWARI Permits one thing and then sulks about it.

Nice post.😊

Not everyone behaves the way we expect a normal person to behave. Some have their own beliefs and principals and customs.
Whether Ish is doing a drama or what is yet to be seen. Need to watch the episode tonight.😕

I live in a multi racial country in Singapore with 76% Chinese more predominate followed by Muslims, Indians, Caucasians...

We have lots of inter racial marriages, which is every common here in Singapore and yet at times major mistakes on food are still being made...like catering foods to Muslims and vegetarians, invited to a Chinese western wedding.

Even with the special food served, have seen some of them politely refusing to eat. They come there to attend the ceremony , bless the couple and go home and eat later.

Yes like you mentioned, some people eat at home before they come to the wedding, bring snacks and some dont. They go for a late supper later on..

It all depends on every individual.

My point here is not all people will bring snacks or eat before going to a wedding. Especially some old senior people with very strong beliefs wont. They rather go home and eat later. This is just based on my personal observation.

Exactly. But no one starves themselves to the point of being sick knowing that they get dizzy spell because they have to go somewhere where they don't like the food. A lot of people may not carry snack. But I can't imagine why someone knowing they won't have an opportunity to eat for at least two-three hours won't eat from home or keep food ready to come back and eat immediately when they have servants to make that food. When you feel lightheaded due to lack of food, even a quick snack of banana helps. There's no need to drag the starvation and add physical work to bring in a handy fainting spell.

That is the crux of the matter. She did the same when she told Dev that she was fine with Sona before break up and sulked the entire time. She did it again now. Buaji says what she believes. Right or wrong, she doesn't try to look good to others by saying anything that other wants to hear so that they like her.
