Geet woke up panting and the clock showed 11pm,the silence around her was eating her,she wiped the sweat beads formed on her forehead,she remembered what happened in the morning,sam coming her home,maan her convo and maan geet convo ,she asking maan to go with sam for a day then taking pills she slept ,but the dream she saw was nothing but a night mare,she literally dreamed about maan and sam enjoying and maan with sam in bed,she prayed desperately to let it to b dream,for once she thought did she made a mistake getting sam back in maan life even for a day,but giving rest to her thoughts she decided to check where maan was!!with shaking hands she opened the door,with silence around the sound was too loud for her to bear ,with quick steps she decenced only to find maan resting his head on sofa in living room,relief washed though her entire body,she cant help herself being selfish that he didn't went with sam,she slowly reached him still trying to belive he was still there.she thought to wake him up,but before she could call his name,maan himself opened his eyes,she tried to read his eyes but they were red similar to her eyes but his eyes showed regret a deep regret for something,she couldn't understand what and why he feels regret,did sam asked him something which he cant give,ya he regret meeting sam again,worst of all did he regret to move on with her,seeing sam still waiting for him.before her thoughts took worst directions maan voice distracted her..

Maan:lets have dinner geet,u didn't have anything from morning.

Geet desperately wants to ask about sam,she even gave a look around thiking sam was mayb in someroom but there was no sign of her,she silently followed him to dinner table,dinner was asilent affair while geet was trying to know what was running in maan mind,and where sam is,she couldn't bring herself to question him.she kept playing with her food,while maan was blaming himself for bringing a day like this in thier life,he knew how exactly geet may felt about sam ,he was angry at himself for keeping those old memories in form of diary at his home,while he was both angry and sad at geet,angry she should have asked him once before bringing sam here,sad she had to go through all this,he silently decided to esare every sign of his past which now held no importance in his life.in deep thoughts both finished their dinner and maan was about to move when geet took all her courage to ask him about sam.

Geet:maan woh...sam...

Maan:he simply forwaded a envelope and went to room.

Geet confusedly looked at his retreating back,she was unable to grab his feelings so first thought to read the letter,the minute she opened it,she knew it was from sam

Thanks geet,thanks for bringing me here,thanks for loving maan so much,thanks for giving me a day with my maan,opps sry your maan, I had to accept this fact that maan was not mine,from 6 yrs I was living in illusion that still maan loves me,he will come for me, in this illusion I hurted my loved ones,but not anymore,I will try to move on geet,from maan ,from my past.thanks for making me believe maan was never mine.u gave me a day to b with maan,but it took hardly 30 min for me to know that how much u involved in his life,in this 30 min all he had to talk about is geet,geet geet,u completely filled his life with your love so there was no scope for sam,u know geet if we love aand possessive for a thing very much we always fear someone will take it ,but once we feel that thing is safe and some one was there to take care of it more than us,we will relax,somewhere I felt maan was that possessive thing in my life,I want to keep him safe and secure and love him all my life,but more than me u can love him.u prove it with the way he took your name,when u came to meet me I thought finally I can win maan,I can live with him,I can easily mould him in my love but geet how can I win a man who was hopelessly lost in you,how can I live with him when he is coloured in your love.

I even thought maan still have feelings for me that's why u came for me to remove his past trace,but I was sooo wrong it was maan who was living with you without any past ,but u love maan to an extent that u decided to give him all the things he wanted once in his life,once geet not now,I was even angry on maan how can he forget me and live happily with you,even before I question him all he had to say is geet did this for me,geet was jhalli,my geet was so innocent ,my geet was this ,my geet was that...u gave us tym to talk about us and spend a day, but all maan did was talk about you,that was the moment I felt sam was never in maan life,maan loves geet to such an extent that he forgot his frnd and love sam,geet loves maan to such an extent that she was ready to leave him with his ex.

U r thiking why I had written a letter to u instead of talking right!!?i cant face u geet,not after I realise u gave me a day from your life but all I decided to do was to take maan away from u,I was so confident I can make him leave you in this 24 hrs,but in 30 min I accepted my defeat,I still cant see maan with you geet,guess I need tym to get this thing to sink in me,I was not that much big heart like u geet,I am still selfish to face u.thanks geet for everything u did to me,I will try to move from my illusion.be happy with maan.

Geet finished reading the letter with tears flowing from her eyes,for once she felt bad for sam, but she did say she will try to move on,mayb if not everything sam may get good partner in her life who can understand her.she couldn't stop her selfish heart to jump in joy thinking her maan did choose her,even though she left him to live a life he desired for a day,he remained hers,just hers,this thought brought a teary smile on geet face,she want to hug him tight expressing her joy but he was no where to b seen,she remembered him going to their room,she just ran to wards room but it was empty she found him on balcony looking at starts,she moved towards him and hugged him tight from back.her teras did wetted his bare back making him close his eyes.while geet closed all the doors of maan past while he was still in regret,even before geet could say something maan said...

Maan:I am sorry geet,I am really sry,I did want to say everything about sam when we started our life,that is few months after our marriage,but geet I don't want to give u that pain,I know for a wife the worst thing is to know that there was a woman in her husband life before her,we just started our life geet as we both r against this marriage but with tym we both fell in love,I don't want to make u suffer with this truth that tym,but with passing tym this truth holds no place in my life as you became my life geet,what ever I and sam shared was not more important than u for me geet,u changed me for good,I only belong to u geet that's why I never thought its needed to make u aware of my past which held no imp in my life,but see fate did made u face that pain which I desperately tried to keep away from you,I know how much you could have suffered knowing about sam, but trust me geet I LOVE U only YOU.now I can understand why u didn't attended my cals ,why u keot aloof,but misty u could have for once just for once have talk with me,I would made u clear there is nothing for your worry,but you beared all alone,I know meeting sam and all this was nothing but a hell to u,I am sry for giving u this pain,but misty promise me from now on u will talk with me if anything bothers you,be it small r big we will handle,but plz don't do this again,don't stop talking with me,I can take anything geet but not your silence.promise me plz.

Geet:I promise maan,I promise,I did try to talk with you maan,but I was afraid what if this past of yours knocks our door one day r other,I was selfish enough to end all this at once maan,when I met sam she claimed herself to b yours,I am afraid what if she takes u away from me,what if after seeing her you too... She closed her eyes feeling disgusted about herself for even thinking about her maan like that,but maan hugged geet knowing her turmoil.

Maan:do u trust me geet!!??

Geet:I trust u maan,I trust u with my life but that tym everything was messed up,your diary,meeting with sam,your wish to spend a day with her... all made me think to give a chance to choose,I did pray desperately that u must remain just mine.i am sry maan for being foolish enough to bring sam here,foolish enough to ask you to go with her,I am sry maan,I am sry to even doubt on your love,I am sry. Saying she broke down in tears.

Maan:shh,mishty see the brighter side!!

Geet:brighter side,she asked innocently wipping her tears with back of her hand,maan couldn't stop himself from pinching her cheeks.

Maan:yes,see u made sam belive that she must move on in her life,u unknowlingly made sam and her parents life happy and other reason is I know my misty loves me more than anything in this world,so in future if I like any girl she can let me spend tym with her.if I get bored of mishty right!!

Geet:ohh now,u r bored of me...she asked glaring at maan.this was the actual reaction he wants,he wants his old geet who was possessive of him,who was lively he missed her so much in these days terribly.now seeing her like this,it felt everything was back to normal.

Maan;oh no mishty...i was just...

Geet:I am going to my daughter tmrw,we both r going to enjoy in mumbai,u can find a girl for yourself, saying she went to bed and maan to followed to manofy his misty.soon both drown in their love world.

Well for truly speaking I was about to make maan and sam have their tym,well sam deserved a day for her wait of 6 yrs,she did truly loved maan,but many were ready to kill me without second thoughts(crystal ,teri hi bath karrahi hoon)so I changed the plot.hope now all r haapy.
