I wasn't able to keep up with last couple of episodes I just used to read the written updates that's why I am very curious to know why sona didn't wear Ishwari's lehenga when she herself convinced Neha to wear the lehenga given by her in-laws in Neha's marriage. I felt bad as she wasn't even shown once thinking about the lehenga.

I think dear, we should wait for the episode to air... May be she wore the saree her baba bought for the wedding and will use the dupatta of the lehenga Ishwari gifted her to make both the families happy.

Yes I should not jump into any conclusion so soon! Because sona values the feelings and sentiments of both the family. She must have figured out a way to create balance between both the families and not hurt anyone's feelings.

The thing is, according to Bengali rituals, there's no hard and fast rule that you will have to wear something during the wedding that is gifted to you by your in laws. Girls generally wear a saree given to her by her parents only. The saree that comes from the in laws is wore by the bride on the day of the reception from the groom's side. That day is called 'Bou Bhaat' in Bengal.

Sonakshi's family have not been communicated about the ritual of wearing that lehenga Ishwari gave her. How would she know? Moreover, people generally do not wear a lehenga in Bengali weddings. Sarees are a must in Bengali weddings and that also Benarasi saree and not anything else unless you want to break the traditions.

Okay thanku so much for telling this..I din't know...😊 The creatives literally have minutely checked everything even the Banarasi saree was there...Erica said in one IV that she was wearing banarasi saree! Hats off to the creatives! No wonder this is the almost realistic shaadi sequence ever!👏

Thanks for explaining. I thought it must have been something like this. A miscommunication between the different customs.
