Disagree with every point.Yes Dev disregarded his family tradition. He should have discussed with Iswari and his sisters and Ofcourse with Mamaji to find out the solution. He should have elaborately explained and assure his mother there won't be any inconvenience for them even if both kinds of food is served. He just went ahead taking everything for granted. Period. If you are happy with Bengali wedding I am happy if there is also a Brahmin wedding. How could the CVs hurt one side by favouring the other? Not having a Brahmin wedding means So many rituals and formalities are to be sacrificed. Why should it happen only to bridegroom's side? The lehenga issue . Why should Iswari offer a Bengali sari when her custom demands the lehenga to be offered? What could Iswari tell Sona when the wedding itself is happening in Bengali style? Sona should think properly and discriminate.I already said I can not quit because of Shaheer. That's it.
I agree with you to some extent... Dev should have discussed the menu with his family and convinced them to think about other side.. And wedding could happen with both up and bengali way... By that there would have been no compromise... Galti cvs ki hai ya phir budget ki!...
