HI maya
Spelling errors can be rectified.you are absolutely right.
But to change the name itself...he can take legal route, lawyers, court's decision. dont know of its even feasible...Shagun has the permanent custody. ...if he's fighting for custody...as I said before...surrigacy and DNA reports are mandatory.
As far as I know it's permanent ...but Indian laws...no idea...

\I posted this on another thread...copying it here..I felt that everyone in both the families truly didn't comprehend the depth and magnitude of Ishita's loss that night. She was left alone with no one to take care for her..This loss of Pihu's childhood also is very painful for Ishita but she doesnt blame it on Raman or anyone else..she know it is her mistake that she missed all this because she didn't have the courage to come and face Raman with Ruhi gone.

Baanj word from someone who is your world destroyed Ishita..she did not care for the baanj tag ever since Ruhi called her Ishima. This was Raman's fixation of giving Ishita her ansh and it did not pan out the way he wanted..His BC blunder sealed her as a baanj forever and her friend Mani played only a small part. In fact Shagun didnt even count on his support for the custody case. Raman keeps saying it was her one child who will remove the tag etc, but Adi and Ruhi had removed the tag in Ishita's mind long time back except in Raman's mind. He says they are your kids and all that but I think subconciously he considers Pihu as truly Ishita's kid..this soch brought about the surrogacy kaand. Old RKB would own up to his mistakes and rectify and fell in love with the flawed moral character, but this RKB has a very convenient amnesia and always ready to blame others than accepting his mistakes. As a father feel bad, but surprised that Pihu is not shown missing her papa and family or is that she feels entiltled like Shagun does that they should love her no matter what. She seems self absorbed and materialistic like Adi was before the change.

Raman is assuming that Ishita left him and Ishita also is not sharing anything with him..but shouldn't he ask atleast once as to what happened to her and why she left..he is thinking it was because of the guilt of losing Ruhi...how can he assume that she faked her suicide, she was never a coward before.. Maybe Ishita is not sharing because she is ashamed of the fact she gave up and realized her mistakes and wants to forget about the act and not add to Raman's guilt. He cannot be blamed for her suicide, but it was his words that put her at the cliff's edge, and no one from both the families was there to care for her..they all went behind Raman, did they think his pain is more because he is the biological parent..or did they think Raman being the volatile emotional person, they need to care for him..but did they even imagine the magnitude of Ishita's loss that night...Just the realization/talk of his/her blunders would go a long way in making this show watchable again. If he thinks Pihu is the ansh, he had no right in keeping Pihu away from the Iyers if she was the nishaani of Ishita..It keeps repeating, his pain, feeling, hurt take precedence over what is the right thing to do..Without Ishita he seems to loose his way..RKB was better off without Shagun and Ishita in his life...he was suave, sophisticated, smart, brainy...gave back to Shagun but didn't know how to express love to anyone. If he has love all the other qualities seem to disappear..loans it to Shagun

Hope Pihu somehow turns out to be Ashok/Shagun's kid but calls Raman papa. This would be a nice slap for Ashok when he made Adi call him dad...Shagun looked good with Ashok.

Hi madhavi
Thanks hon ...loved your comment too.
You are absolutely right...nobody understood what ishuta went thru that fateful night. Yes she was abandoned...she had nowhere to go...she was a broken soul with no sense of direction...took her life...the on,y person who saw her at that very minute and her life for 7 years was mani. I was hoping that we will see a scene where he will shed light on how ishuta was on that night and how she lived past 7 years...and then realization and healing of Ishra and ishpi will start...but what we got was bizzaro ...we got Shagun ...had Ishu come back, will she be peaceful...no..her life would've been miserable with ramans continuous taunts. Yes she missed out on Pihus childhood which she regrets and blames herself but Raman is still blaming others and not realized...I'm astounded you still have hope on ramans realization...kudos to that.
@ red... I think so too...to him...Ruhi and adi are not her biological kids...so he wanted her own biological child...own in bold ..her flesh and blood.
@ pink ...agree...
@ blue...did. Anybody even her parents for that matter..sit down and talk to her? Ask her,, why she did what she did? How she lived these past years and why she didn't call?.. Nothing...
As for the question as to why everybody went behind raman?...prolly they concurred with him...felt he needed more support as he lost a child ...not Ishu. Or they thought she's strong ...little did they realize she's not. I agree with you on Pihu...why keep the iyers away?!
There you go we are right back at the starting point.

Thanks Madhavi,

I have nothing more to add you have explained everything

@ blue Madhavi if I am not mistaken I think Ishita told Raman why she left them and did not come back because of her guilt for Ruhi death and because of his hatred and his abusive words when Pihu was admitted in the hospital. I think it did not register with Raman at that time because he then declared Shagun as the Asli ma for Pihu and took Shagun and Pihu with him leaving Ishita standing in the hospital corridor and when Pihu turned her head to see Ishita he once again turned Pihu head away from Ishita and walked out with Shagun as a family. I hope I am not mistaking the sequence how it played in the episode.

Hi Viji,

You are correct since the whole name has to be changed Raman has to go court and prove it via DNA and surrogacy papers that Ishita is the mother hence it needs to be changed in the birth certificate and get it stamped via court then only it will become a legal document otherwise it is only a piece of paper which will not be of any use

Good reply n thoughts by mdwst n maya sundar.
A small correction.
This show is taking place on another planet.
All the chrs are aliens.
Only this kind of approach can support the brainless, illegal stuff they show in yhm.
Normally, any correction that needs to be done,is done at the latest, when the child joins school.
Hence that correction period is over.
Anymore,I don't wish to give clues to the cvs.
