A Dish Served with Too Much Spice!!!

There were lot of great scenes today.

1. Sona getting ready and Elena giving her flower that reminds her of Dev

2. Dev seeing Sona as she enters as his soon to be fiance. That awestruck face combined with OMG-she-is-so-pretty followed by can't-believe-how-lucky-I-am, Dil-mein-laddoo-phooting expression that I wanted him to maintain the entire night.

3. Dadi bua, as irritating she is, did bless Sona pretty sweetly. Dadi bua and Ishwari, thanks to surrogacy, you will get your wishes. But the question is that would you love the child born out of medical science as much as a child born out of God-made technique?

4. Sona blushing, teasing, beaming and glowing in happiness.

There were also a lot of scenes that kind of was irritating for me...

1. Dev moping around, most especially at the time of couple dance. I can still forget other time. But I wanted to watch their couple dance on loop like I watched their rain dance or surprise date at Dev's home. But his expression ruined it for me. For heaven's sake, cross the bridge when you come to it. He is again trying to straddle two boats, in this case two timelines. One is present and the other is future.

a. Either deal with future issues and come clean to Sona now or

b. If you want to keep your mouth shut for Sona's happiness, then you try to live in the present and not moping about your non-existent kids. Don't ruin your present with future disappointments.

Who knows, by the time you are ready to have kids may be medical science would have progressed so much to create Sona a healthy womb with her own stem cell. Now if that happens, you'd feel pretty dumb watching your sulking pictures at your Sangeet, won't you?

But this night will never come back again and looking back will only bring you regret that you should have just enjoyed your moment, triumph of your love.

2. Elena's issues

Elena apparently researched North Indian culture. Obviously she needs training on how to do research. Who has not seen Hum Aapke Hai Kaun living in India? Even people in abroad has seen that movie.

No really, tell me? Anupam Kher was showering money on his samdhi, jamai, his daughters etc.

How's that not evident?

Elena never disrespected any elderly person on their face before, not even Ishwari and she hated her for Sona. Then how did CVs suddenly made her so rude and insensitive?

3. Bijoy and Dev were wearing identical sulking expression during dancing with their significant others as if someone has hold a gun on their head. Dev has to dance because it's his party. But Bijoy didn't have to. He could skip dancing. Asha could dance with others. It's not as if they were slow dancing. It was so awkward to watch.

4. Vicky is sneaky (Lol... Rhymes too). He doesn't behave like an ass in front of other people. He goes for kill behind his family's, most importantly behind Dev's back, so that his mother can whitewash his deeds. CVs really has to be consistent in character sketch.

5. PRECAP... Ishwari, please learn the concept of privacy. Your son is getting married. He would share that room with his wife who is also professional. Give them the space and learn from now so that you don't interrupt them in their intimate moment.

P.S. Not that they will have any intimate moment with her around. But just thought she needs to know that Dev's room is no longer his sole domain.

So for me, today's episode was a dish that could have been excellent. But due to too much spice, I could not digest it as well.

See this is the problem so many of us are facing. We are unable to appreciate the good scenes because the negative scenes overpower them.Today could have given a satisfaction similar to eating a choco lava cake😉😆but ended up leaving a bitter taste, the cake was under baked and lacked the sweetness that was required.

The rose scene was cute. The entrance scene with "the can't believe I am so lucky expression "did bring a smile to my face but after that it all became a "what the hell is happening" kind of episode.

Bijoy- Too much gloomy and annoyed that too without reason.
Elena- She seems to have left her brain at home.
Vicky- Outright misbehaving in front of everybody? Even he was not shown that stupid before today.
Dev-When Sona told him that she wants them to enjoy every moment of the ceremonies, I thought Dev might come out of his miserable teary eyed expression and realise how he is forgetting to live in the moment and create memories.
Dev- Sona Dance: Couldn't they have given us just this one scene without the sad teary expression. The end of the dance was sweet, that was what I needed to see throughout the dance.
Too much mention of kids spoiled it for me.It was forced.
Also the dance performances of sisters were not shown properly. It felt so out of place.I kept remembering Neha's sangeet where it was all so beautifully choreographed. The right mix of fun, romance and emotions.

As for your PS, Ishwari has no plans to understand their need for privacy. She faints on their wedding night 🤣Its not even surprising anymore. It was predictable and expected.

Bits and parts of the episode were good...but sangeet ceremony...and you are marrying the love of your life...would want more...interms of devakshi scenes,,,,,,and what we get is an 18 year old...through tantrums at her sisters wedding...
Dev with that pride look on watching his bride...a master stroke today...what a scene, well shot...and loved their entry.

A nice watch if we keep zero expectations.

Finally a post from my 2 favorite girls!🤗
Love the analogy of the spice and the half baked cake!

I have nothing more to add

PS: Just read a post about the show and the channel in the forum and it made perfect sense to why the direction of this show has changed

Seriously Ishwari needs to learn a bit about privacy soon... But then again she's Ishwari... Sona please do the needful respectfully 👏

Awww 🤗🤗

The channel is ending two of its shows abruptly. The reason seems to be trp. But if KRPKAB follow the same old cliched and overused plots, then the new audience they initially attracted will also stop watching. This might fetch them trps but the maturity and different approach that the show promised will never materialise on screen.🤔

Yep. Agreed. That's what I felt. Could we not have one great episode without family drama? Is that too much to ask?

Few good scenes n rest solely for the purpose of unnecessary drama.
Loved the rose scene, Sona's entry n Dev expressions, Bua complementing Sona, liked the dance as well 😳 but special mention of Sona when Dev n Sona talk..she was so natural, so matured n realistic, how she realised Dev was quite emotional..everything good except the twice mention of kids by Sona talk abt honeymoon why directly jumping to kids.

Mood spoiler scenes - Elena n bua ji - who in India doesnt know abt this..it might be annoying but nothing compared to the scene Elena created . And you are right Vicki has nvr done anything infront of others, so it really felt like jabardasti ka drama, making fun of Mr. Bose n Elena again ready to fight - so unnecessary n that Bua ji's bahu's dialogue - what is the need for showing this character at all...totally useless.

Bad thing to end the episode with Elena Vicki drama n then more infertility track related precap. Poore sangeet ka maza kharab kar diya.

Keeping low expectations with this whole marriage track. Hopefully with haldi we will see Dev smiling again.

Pls pls no more drama ...they r trying to insert all possible fights that happen between bride n groom side in one single wedding...n spoiling this much awaited wedding track.
