One can't blame the post-leap actors.In this show,barrying a few like Somya,the star cast was perfect. It's the cvs who ruined the show with their crappy tracks.
One can't keep the teenage actors in a historical show from beginning to the end.The leap has to happen. I feel the cvs should show the leap within 6 months of the show's start so that the viewers won't get used to watching the teenage actors.After this show's leap,many viewers deliberately stopped watching the show because they can't accept anyone else as Ashok after seeing Sid for 1 and a half years.
Secondly, after the leap starts,the cvs should focus on the main plot of the show which was there from the beginning.If the cvs had focused on ashok's journey to the throne,his life as the emperor then this show would have been more successful. Instead they made the show a cheesy love story and made ashok look like a dumb romantic clown.
