Yet another beautiful episode from the team...wonderfully Shravanilicious!
I watched the previous episode as it repeated twice on HD. Each time makes it all the more wonderful! The haughtiness with which he insults the institution of marriage, the alone rant, the way he pouts like a kid as he falls...and rolls his eyes as Sumo mentions their childhood games (Won't make a difference anymore, lady!)..softens up as she confesses...gets lost in thought because probably for a moment he did reflect on how she used him...but the moment Suman mentioned her ego and how she had not apologised at times as her ego hadn't allowed her to apologise...His ears perk up at the mention of this...Yeh toh main bhi karta hoon, Sumo. Insight!
It all seems so simple when his own mind tells him in the form of his best friend that things could still become perfect. He staggers up to the room...a tender expression as he watches her sleep❤️...he advances to perhaps slip the blanket over her...but fear of disappointment swallows him again and he collapses on his side of the bed.
The next morning...So they scrapped the towel scene...Anyway, Suman goes missing.
I think as Shravan wakes up, he addresses her as Sumo in his grogginess and asks her to open the door. He even opens out the blanket- did he expect Suman to have shrunk through the night?😆 That was so cute.
The rest of the day is for the anger to build up into frustration. At the breakfast table, he is firm and tells his chaachi that he would make his bride comply with the rules of the house.
Ramnath is restless as he can sense how unhappy his son is and he even starts remembering Nirmala's accusation. Deep down he does know there is something wrong, even if he is trying to ignore it. And then the call from the client comes. He starts talking about how irresponsible and reckless Shravan seemed to appear...and he is not able to pacify this customer.
Shravan walks in late. Ramnath catches him lying to Naanu. And he is astounded that Shravan has not bothered to find out about Suman's whereabouts. Papa is very clear here. Her safety is Shravan's responsibility.
Loved how Shravan tried to mask his disappointment under the garb of I can't stand her anyway', but the man was breaking down. Don't know if Ramnath knows his son well enough to know this, but my heart went all out to Shravan because he was dying for some sort of acceptance- reciprocation- from her side. The vibes the client had got from Shravan had only been too accurate. He was a broken man beneath the mask of indifference he wore.
PS: Would appreciate it even if there are no comments- Bashers please stay away. There are plenty of posts for you to vent out. I love the various elements of this show. I am grabbing these moments..even if they are the last. This show is too precious for me to waste my time criticising anyone. I am not going to let the fandom and the channel take it away from me fully knowing I will be criticised too for this.
The overall feel was that they were trying to cover up Niki's absence. If they have to end it in two weeks, they simply have to get Ramnath to confess in five minutes...so, I really do hope the channel comes to some sense. If it doesn't, I am still going to enjoy these last few beautiful moments. Thank U, EDKV! ❤️ And Thank U all of U for the efforts to save the show. 🤗 My optimism tells me this could work...😊...But I also know Sony is pretty DUMB as a channel! 🥱
And where did Sumo go? If Aditya is there on the sets, it must mean the phone call she got was related to him.
