Say Mahi! I heard it's your birthday today? Dekho waise toh mai bohot bhau khata hoon. Apni khud ki biwi se seedi baat nahi karta. Sirf Papa ke liye hi jeeta hoon. Not getting a reply I looked up from the check list and found Zoya and Priyam huddled in a corner, their respective works abandoned, with a dreamy expression on their faces. As I walked closer, I found both of them drooling over shirtless Shravan, the 6'4 Greek God who was all mine!
I punched Zoya on her back and got the required response.
"Aaah! Sumo kya kar rahi hai tu?"
"Zoya ki bacchi maine tujhse kya kaha tha aur tu kya kar rahi ha? Khud to kaam chor hai oopar se Priyam ko bhi bana diya"
"Sumo main koi kaam chor nahi hoon aur tu bhi aa Shravan ko dekhte hai"
"Nahi baba mujhe bohot kaam hai. Mahi ka birthday hai. Mujhe sab kuch perfect chahiye.
Vaise tune saare guests ko invites bhej diye na??"
"Haan baba sab kuch theek se ho gaya hai"

An hour later, the guests starting coming and all were set for the party. Resh has taken the responsibility of bringing Mahi to the party without arousing any suspicions in Mahi's mind. "Arey Zo aur Prii! Aa gayi Mahi!!"
Mahi was so taken aback by the grandeur of the place. She was so excited. Amazing job Sumo! You rock!
"Mahi!" I say hugging her tight! "Happiest birthday my love! You rock! We love you! Khana sab maine banaya hai aur sab tera favourite hai. Dekh Shravan ko bhi bulaya hai! Ab tu aa gayi toh party mai maza aayega!! Happiest birthday Mahi!"

Hoshiyar! Maharana Pratap Singh padhar rahe hain!
And then what followed echoed in her ears,the beating of drums,the blowing of trumpets followed by the light tinkling of anklets.
Mahishee looked around herself in wonder.
"He Kanha! Where am i? And did i just hear...? And as she turned, what she saw made her almost lose faith on her own eyes.
Into the hall walked a man about 7ft tall, with a strong built and sporting a massive moustache. She had never seen a face as handsome as the fire in his eyes sang endless glories of his determination and courage. The pagdi on his head was studded with gems,absolutely precious and his clothes showcased his regal bearing and royal decent. Beside him,hand in hand walked a woman of untold beauty. Her attire was simple yet royal and her elegance said it all. He looked at her and smiled as she blushed and smiled back.
And Mahi rubbed her eyes in utter astonishment. Was she dreaming? But before that thought could modify any further the two individuals who looked like a god and a goddess,having descended straight from heaven, came nearer and she found herself bowing and walking away clearing the way. The man ascended the throne while she occupied the seat by his side as the people shouted in unison-"Maharana Pratap Singhji ki jai ! and "Maharanisa ki jai! and she joined them without a moment's thought. She got pushed once or twice in the crowd,making her realize it was anything but a dream!
When the jayjaykar' ceased, rawatji got up and his seat and looked keenly at the Rana.
"Ranaji! He said "Kya iss vishesh darbar bulane ka karan jaan sakte hain? He asked respectfully.
"Ji,awashya rawatji! Ranaji exclaimed. He again smiled at his better half and stood facing the prajajans.
"Aaj hum sab yahan ek vishesh vyakti ke janmadin ke uplakshya mein upasthit hue hain.
"Vishesh vyakti? Kintu baujiraj,aaj toh kisi bhi darbari athva mantri ka janmadin nahi hai! Panditji Chakrapani Mishra interrupted.
"Chakrapani,hum kisi darbari ki baat nahi kar rahe hain. Hum unki baat kar rahein hain jinhone humme aur Ajabde se sadaiv bahut prem diya hai, humare sukh-dukh mein bhagi bani aur sadaiv humare saath na hokar bhi aur humara saath diya. Hum dono ki kahani ka ek abhinn anga, hum sab ki pyari Mahi ki. And he looked at her turning all eyes towards her and Mahi turned red in embarrassment. Oh my god, the great Maharana of Mewar mentioned her name and said that he wanted to celebrate her birthday, what can be more exciting than this!! She was almost bouncing yet couldn't believe it all.
Then was Ajabde's turn. And she gave her a wide smile.
"Mahi, aapke janmadin par humne ek dawat ka aayojan kiya hai. Samast upasthit prajajan pakshala ki aor prasthan karein. She ordered and they all obeyed while she called mahi by her side and the two ladies lead the way. Mahi couldn't help but stare at her again and again. Was it all happening for real? But she hadn't the guts to speak anything.
Back,in the grand dining hall, Saubhagyawati was waiting. And as she saw Mahi,she said.
"Mahi,aaj hum aapka janmadin aapke tareeke se manayenge. Aur sabhi vyanjan bhi aap hi ki pasand ke honge! Barely had she completed when in came a cake! Yes a cake in that century, which had 17 diyas over it. And was made all of ghevar. But she didn't get much time to wonder about it because the cake cutting was impending.Ranaji's khanjar was summoned for the cutting and the little prince amar and princess rama kanwar joined them in the festivities.
Mahi blew the candles ,ermm sorry the diyas amidst the drums and the music and cut the cake as the hall resounded yet again with Jai mewar! And Jai Eklingji as the whole of mewar prayed for her long life and well being. She fed a bite each to Ranaji, Amar and Rama. And when it was Ajabde's turn,she fed her back and hugged her tight and so did Subho.
All done,they took their seats for dinner and much to her surprise,all were her favourite Gujju dishes-the khaman,dhokla and the yummy jalebis. Then there was the mouth watering Dal-bati churma and ghatta kadhi as well. And she had her fill of all the lip smacking delicacies, and it was the most delicious meal she ever had!

They are mimes, singers, pianists, bakers.. It's funny really. Oh I did not mention my name now did I? I'm Eugene Fitzherbert! What! You don't know me? I don't blame you, I've started going by that name pretty recently, after I met the woman of my dreams. You may know me as Flynn Rider, the badass goon! Well not anymore mind you.
Here we are Mahi! This is your boat! I figured you should have the best view today! I have got to rush back, cause my wife must be getting angry. You watch the show with Pascal and Max will get you back to the castle in time for the great ball! I hope to see you there love!
